Everything that happened in the show is the same. It's set roughly two months after the opera, and one year and three months after the time skips. Fry and Leela are dating.

It's not Leela's genes that caused the baby to be retarded, it's Fry's lack of delta brain wave that's been passed on, and since the baby doesn't have a delta brain wave, then the baby must be the other!

Leela found out in The Day the Earth Stood Stupid that Fry was missing the Delta Brain wave. Right?Then how come she hasn't figured out that the baby's lack of Delta Brain wave is due to Fry and not her mutant genes?
