Fan Music: The Sting

Friendly local band Atomic Raygun Attack just made a new album type thing, based on the Futurama episode, The Sting.

My god, brilliantly thought up lyrics which relate to the show, great tunes, presentable cover and theme!!! Great work AtomicRaygunAttack kudos to you, I think it doesn't need to be said but I have saved these songs and hope to see more from you guys!

Interesting.  The lyrics are good, the instruments are good, but I can't say I'm in love with the singing.

For a band to make a song dedicated to an episode should get Groening and Company's attention - maybe get them a gig for a future episode.

Very cool.  I love the concept and everything about it.  (An entire album dedicated to "The Sting"?  Perfect!)

The one thing is, I haven't been a fan of punk-ish music for a long time, so when I started playing it, it threw me off a bit.  It's grown on me, though.

omg, that is the best fan music i ever heard! it's very well written... much better than harry and the potters... that's probably the worst any kind of music i ever heard... they made me think fan music sucked but this is really good

Oh man, that is amazing.  I love how the clips fit the song perfectly at times.  (Will we win? and This  shot or with ...but I appreciate the chase and that shot of Fry winking from "I, Roommate" )  Also the merging of certain scenes into others is incredible.

I watched another of this person's videos - the "Everyday" one - and that song has been in my head all day today.  I can't stop hearing it!

I'm not a big fan of the music, but it was a good fanvid (especially as fan vids go).  Every time I see that episode, I think of Sarge.  Remember Sarge?  He was great.

Wow!!! - in general i like music but not so much this type even though I LOVE these songs! The vid syncs up perfectly and all the clips fit so perfectly with the lyrics. It's amazing. well done whoever you are   !

The music has really grown on me, especially if I de-tune my brain to adjust for some of the off-key vocals    I agree with Ralph--really good lyrics and some creative arrangements.  Would be interesting to have a female vocalist for the middle sections.
