Amy Fry fic?

Just wat the title says wat do you thinck about Amy/Fry fics.

personaly I think they are kinda unrelastic, not fun, boring, sucky, and bottomline its unFuturama.

The truth is, I haven't really found a decent one yet that doesn't involve Amy unjustifiably dumping Kif or Fry realistically losing interest in Leela.  But I'm more than open to reading them.  It seems I'm one of the few supporters of that ship, however "unrealistic" is is.

There aren't many of us 1BDI    Check out Love Hurts by "Demon of the Sky". You can find it at  http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1398178/1/  It is short and unfinished but it is plausible and a nice read.

This is borderline flamebait, Albert. From your first post, it's clear that you have no interest in anyone else's opinion, just whacking people over the head with your own. This kind of crap will not be tolerated.

Regardless, this can be a legitimate topic for discussion. Believe it or not, one of teh best fics I read was a Leela/Amy nonslashy fic. And I actually once atarted to write a full-on Fry/Amy shipfic, but it was wiped out when my computer died without a backup, and I just didn't feel like writing the whole thing again.

Any non-traditional shippers out there wanna make their feelings known?

Not shippy in any real way, but I'd like to see some fic dealing with Leela/Bender friendship. It's not demonstrated often in the series because they usually rub each other the wrong way, but the rare moments of comraderie that they share are always nice.

If I had to guess, it might have been Missy's Cyclopes Mama, Martian Mama story; but frankly I'm only saying that because it's the only fic of that description to come to mind atm.

I wish there were a few more. 

Now don't get me wrong, I'm a big supporter of the Fry/Leela shippy stuff, but I always have found the Fry/Amy Fan-fics more interesting and involving than the former.

Thats why the only Fan-fic I have a favorite short cut to is Jle's Two wrongs make a right.

It's a good story, anyone who hasen't read it, should.

Haha.     I mentioned myself by name once in 'Blame it on the Brain'. The bad guy made a passing reference to Coldangel as one of the mysterious forces manipulating the Universe.
That's about as far as I would ever go in terms of self-insertion. It was actually a quirky form of existentialism so that makes it okay... right?

See, that's one of the reasons I don't read a lot of fanfics. I try to be pretty selective in what I'll read. But as far as a Fry/Amy one goes, I think it would be fine if it were well-done. I haven't read one myself.

Well sorry Kryten. If I had known that simply mentioning a fan-fic was that bad, I wouldn't have done then.

I have two solutions for ya.

1. If it bothers any more people, I could always edit it out of my post. I would gladly do this too.

2. This ones much simpler than the last one........just totaly forget that bit and don't read it again. 

Anyways, I just put that in for any newbies that might read this thread or anyone who has not read a Fry/Amy fan-fic and wants to. It was only out of good intensions.

I remember that one.  It's one of the few Futurama fanfics not written by Kryten that doesn't suck.  Shame the author never finished writing it.

Many of his fanfics establishes that Fry and Amy are good friends after breaking up.

Personaly, I'm a Fry/Leela shipper, but I don't mind Fry/Amy. There was this one called Love Hurts, but I do not know if the it was finished. It was actually pretty good. You know what, if I find it unfinished, I'm gonna go bug the auther to finish it.

I recently read this fanfic and boy, it's so good I cannot even describe it. You have to read it yourself. Be prepared to crumple as I did. Also, it's rated "M", got plenty tons of Fry/Amy interactions and is mature itself.. I can go on and on, but I don't need to do that.
If you don't read it, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.
