Unlucky was kindly prodding me for information on my unfinished episode pic last week, so I decided to finish it. 



I ended up giving up on the grass because Paint Shop Pro was being very tempramental: it would crash every time I tried to physically draw it in.    So I had to go the lazy route and throw down a clover patch and some lawn stamps instead. >_>

Ah, it looks great. Really cool idea.
For things like grass, forests, and other backgrounds, you can always sample
sections from free licence photographs, and apply a poster edges filter to make them look more cartoony.
