Pazuzu333's 'artwork'

I have just done my first scan of bender, and basically wanted to see what everyone thought, so here he is...

Please bear in mind that I am most definately not an artistic person, as I cannot draw to save my life!    More scans and hand drawn pics will come as soon as I get around to drawing them!
If you have any tips for doing scans in Photoshop Elements they would be greatly appreciated!

I started my thread with almost exactly the same words. Trust me, you'll do fine. What program did you do your Bender in? He's very good!

Nice trace, but it looks bland without shading. If you need help I'd be glad to help you shade it!

Edit: Here's my attempt at shading bender, I don't really have enough experience with doing this sort of thing to know whether it's any good or not, so comments would be welcomed...

hey.. more than a Scan, this is a Pixel Art of Bender. You should try to make the shading parallel to the left border of Bender (like you did in his right foot, but not on his left one). This also goes for the shoulder and the chest. Those are just advices, you've made a good job. I'll be glad if you let me post your work in TFP's Pixel Art section. So, what do you say?

I like the shading. (It honestly made me put shading in my own latest Bender scan which the Framegrab was on TFP, thanks JavieR  .) I'd try shading from the right side to the left. Just my prefs though.

OK, new pictures... I did the first one pixel art, no shading, then I did the second one using the gradient tool on photoshop. Enjoy... (Sorry it took so long!)

This is good pixel art! I noticed Bender has one round eye and one square eye.

We all have mistakes. Heck, I miss pixels all the time and I see them later and thing "Oh, crud, I missed those and I looked really hard so I could color them in and still missed them!" One time, I even left half of Bender a weird color and the rest was more gray and silver.

I love that shot. So funny. Bender's head under his arm - the looks of serious determination alongside that piece of slapstick absurdity. Classic.
