1st post ever here so please be gentle. I recently made an Adlai Atkins icon but I was wondering if someone could help me make it into an animated gif of the same size? It would be really cool if Adlai in my avatar could move his right eyebrow while his right eye is winking. At the same time, his grin would become a smile where Adlai is showing his teeth. I would be really grateful if anyone's up to the task. If not, thanks for your time.

Welcome to PEEL Rrygun. Cool Adlai, unfortunatly I can't help you, seeing as I don't do animations, I'm not much help. I'm sure someone around here can help you though.

Welcome to PEEL Rrygun,

Really nice Adlai you made. Sadly I have to disappoint you with having at animated. At least as an avatar here on PEEL.

Avatars here have to be exactly 64x64 pixels, gif and if probable of a transparent background.
Not that hard to do, but the next thing is that they have to be smaller than 3.4 kb in filesize and they are not allowed to be animated.

however, here is a version that would work for PEEL:

Thanks for the welcome. Well, I post on other forums as well and wanted to put an animated Adlai elsewhere to show how big a Futurama fan I am. But thanks for resizing it for me so that I could use it here. But how exactly do I use it here as an avatar? I only see previous, none, and other pre made avatars as options. I see a signature option too but I don't think that's correct. I'm sure it's staring at me right in the face but I'm missing it.

Oh, I should have told you that already in my first post.  :)

Unlike signature pictures, you can't upload the avatars on your own. Administrators of PEEL made it that way, so that they have the control on what gets uploaded and what not. Also they wanted to prevent people of changing it every second day.

To get it as your custom avatar, you have to post it here with the text "Upload to custom" underneath. Once a month all requests get uploaded.

It'll be that time again next saturday/sunday.

Very happy to see you posting.  :D You avatar seems to be all in order and it looks great! Enjoy it. If I do say so, it's one of the most original ones around here. I don't think I've seen anyone with an avatar with Adlai, much less one with a nifty background picture included. Remember to have fun with it, but don't start any flame wars and your certainly welcome ofr the...welcome...  ;)
