Everyone Else is Doing It

Hey, everyone else is posting their fan art so thought I would post some of mine as well. I have just started drawing Simpsons and Futurama characters so I don't have the hang of it yet but feel pretty comfortable with these characters. I hope to have full body art down in the next couple of weeks (I am actually getting the hang of Farnsworth now) and once that happens hope to be able to pose them and put some action to them instead of just these static images.

I agree - can't seem to get her to look right. I think I need to look at some other pictures of her and work a little more on it.

Good work, the Farnsworth one is superb, the others need a bit more work but are getting there.

The Farnsworth one is very good, Nibbler looks pretty good too. The Amy looks a bit strange, yet I can't put my finger on what.

Really nice work Bendo.  Farnsworth and Nibbler are really nice.  I think the only thing with Amy is that her face is a little flattened, but it's still much better than I can do so far. 

I've got pages and pages of horrible looking Frys in my sketch book.  I refuse to post anything until I get it right.

These characters are deceptively hard to draw...

I think I have the 'mystery' of Amy solved. It all starts at my initial layout drawing of Amy's head. I think I need to make it more circular instead of an oval and it comes out fine. A few adjustments to the hair helps to clean it up as well.
I hope to get some more posted here shortly.
