This is my first thread, and my first scans.
I'll only post one as an image because it's my latest (best) one and just link the others are kind of crappy because i was still figuring out how to photoshop and i don't want to add the the grief of those with dial up. I half followed some random tutorial and just guessed the rest. The ones in links, are kind of messy because i did them free hand in Pshop before i figured out better ways.

Feedback and tips please! (Keep in mind all images are subject to quality loss due to jpeging)

you did them in flash, right? or photoshop? you could export as a .png. Nice work

You're doin' mighty fine for a beginner.
One pet peeve I have about fan-art, not limited to your's, is that artists frequently outline Leela's mouth in black. On the show her mouth was always outlined in a hue slightly darker than her lipstick.
I see you have corrected this in your later scans.

I did them in photoshop, but they always come out ultra smooth looking like they've been done in flash. I think its because i sharpen the outline heaps before i colour it.

@SpaceCase: Yeah, I noticed that aswell is a lot of other scans. I wasn't entirly sure what to do, but after i saw how weird it looked in black i realised that, like you said, you do it in a slightly darker colour than her lipstick and i think i got it right in my last 2

Nice work, except I would suggest you try a slightly smaller brush for the black outlines on your next pic.

Here it is in colour. Its pretty bad, i didn' put enough time into it. My next one will be better i promise.

What Size brush are you suggesting? I used 7px for that so which do you reckon? 4? 5? 6?

I really like the "I'm with stupid" Fry and Leela scan! They're all good tough.. Try five on the brush size..

@BF: The reason i called the first one 'bad' is because not matter how many times i tried, i couldnt get leela's mouth looking good, because i was using a small grab, rather than a lager one or a home made grab. Thanks for your comment! from now on i dont think im going to bother using bad quality grabs, to difficult to make a good quality scan off.

@Zoidy: Thanks your yours comments aswell! I don't get to post my sig as often as i would like to because i get far to tempted by the convience of a quickpost.
