I finished reading "Absinthe makes the Heart Grow Fonder" earlier today, and I enjoyed it.  I don't feel like doing a full review so here's some disjointed thoughts:

Several of the jokes were positively hilarious (anything the Professor says, "for some reason, she insisted on signing my breasts, etc.) while some fell flat (the BNL reference, etc.) usually due to dragging out.  I liked the plot overall, found it fairly feasible...but you never explained Leela's breaking up with Fry; I was looking forward to a big reveal as part of the reconciliation at the end and got nothin'.  Also, Bender's story sorta petered out without him learning a lesson.  Usually, his criminal ventures go south in some hilarious manner.  On the other hand, Nibbler talking to Leela when she's drunk: good stuff.  Anyway, I'd rate it pretty good overall for a comic (where I expect the story to be rushed and the jokes to be hit-or-miss), but lacking in suspense/climax in the third act.

Thanks for the feedback! Jokes are always hit or miss really, that's why it's so much harder to write comedy than drama. I've done other comics before and you never really know if something is funny since you are the one who wrote it. But it's fun, it's more challenging than to write some sap fest.
