I'm pretty sure they don't make love by tracing a picture of Fry. Tracing is total artistic anathema, and it would be so obvious in a board full of obsessive futurama fans. I'm actually noticing which parts of Pawell's latest art is scanned, and which parts are drawn. Keep scribbling away spacemonkey! Or try using some paints. Those are fun .

Here's a tip...try copying freehand, not tracing, from a print-out or photocopy (something on actual paper). Only turn the picture upside down, and copy it the same way--upside down.
This is a trick that forces your brain to look at the lines rather than the object as a whole...which switches you from your "left brain" (logical) to your "right brain" (artistic). It's from *Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain*, by Betty Edwards, one of the classic books on learning how to draw.
