Fanfiction: This is easy. Just get an idea and type.

Fan Art: Draw it yourself and scan it into your computer, or use a drawing or paint program.

S'not so hard. If I can write...

Also, C_C, you can edit your posts in case you make any gratuitous spelling/grammar errors.  We don't need any more Nurdbots.

drawing fan art is easy  :p

just do what i do......sit at a desk which is loaded with empty drinks cans, screwed up paper and half eaten pizza....sit there for a while, drink coffee, sharpen you pencil a few times, listen to Oasis/Nirvana....then draw something and hope for the best  :)

I always draw with a mechanical pencil mind you,  :p

Yeah, listening to music is really good for inspiration I find as well.

Have a very good idea what you want to draw first, because I've spent hours adjusting some of my pics and they just end up completely different to my first idea. Draw your pics like TheVoices' and you'll do just fine.  :)

Personally I use Illustrator 9 and either Photoshop 6 or Paint Shop Pro 7, bus once every blue moon I'll dig out Flash 5, which what I orginally started with.

Bring back the old AMY POSTICON, PLEASE.

I can't draw by hand to save my life, so don't even ask.

I just get an idea then draw it, usually it turns out fine, sometimes a lttle adjustment is needed. I Listen to Prodigy, get out my heaps of pens and other art equipment and draw in an open space with plenty of room and ventilation.

I often draw my stuff when I've got some time off at school.  :) Good, because it gets my mind off other crap (such as math  :p), but bad because it leaves me without any references to look at when drawing.

Take this drawing, for example...

Looked very good when I drew it, but as soon as I looked at a 'real' drawing of Fry, I noticed several errors! (too small neck, too big hair, a seriously messed up jacket, somewhat screwy proportions etc).
Then again, I'm a full-time nitpicker!  :)
