Fan Fiction? You Got It!

Here is the first part of my Fan Fiction, I would like to know if you like it. I posted this in the wrong section last time so here it is.

Fry, Bender and Leela were coming back from a delivery from a planet inhabited by dishes.
"I don't know why we would need to deliver some fin fungus medicine to a planet run by dishes?!?" said Bender.
"Yeah, Fry" agreed Leela. "Are you sure you read the directions properly?"
"Yes, Leela" said Fry. "I know how to read!" He looks at the directions from Professor Farnsworth. It says "Planet of Fishes"
"Oh." said Fry embaressd.
"What?" Bender asked.
"Uuuh...nothing!" said Fry scrunching the note up and throwing it out of the ships window. It flies back in and hits Leela in the head.
"What's this?!" said Leela, annoyed. She starts to unfold it. Fry snatches it from her.
"Nothing! Heh-heh!" Fry says swallowing the note. "Phew, that was close!"

Then Leela navigated the ship down into the Planet Express Hangar. Hermes was waiting for them.
"Fry!" said Hermes excitedly. "The Professor's doing something you have to see! C'mon!"

Fry, Leela and Bender followed Hermes to the Laboratory where the Professor, Dr Zoidberg and Amy are all crowded around a half-built machine.
"What the hell is this piece of junk you're making here, Professor?" asked Bender.
"It's a time machine!" explained the Professor. "Earlier today I was fiddling around with a piece of old gum that I found on the side of the road and it just came to me! Don't ask me how, it just did!"
Fry puts his hand up. "How?"
"Idiot" said the Professor under his breath. "Now Fry, when I finish making it, you'll be the first to try it."
"Cool!" said Fry excitedly. "Now I'll finally be able to show you guys how cool the 20th century was!"
"Yeah, we'll come and have a look!" said everyone accepting Fry's offer.
"But there is one thing!" interrupted the Professor.
"What's that?" asked Fry.
"Whoever uses the time machine will lose all memory of the time they've just previously been to!" explained the Professor.
"Oh" said Everyone.
"What, so you're all just going to not come now? Is that it!?" asked Fry angrily.
"Yep!" said Bender.
"I'll go with you Fry" said Leela.
"But Leela..." stammered Amy.
"Well I didn't hear any of you guy's saying you'd go with him!" said Leela.
"Nope!" said Bender.
"Thanks Leela!" said Fry.
"There's also one more thing I want to say!" added the Professor. "Leela, when you go back in time with Fry, you have to stay with him or you'll screw up this whole time we're in! The year 3000!"
"Okay" replied Leela.
"Hey, Leela!" Fry said. "If you're coming to the 20th century you need to have the right attitude to it. Let's go to that 20th centur store on Mars"
"Good idea" said Leela sarcastically. "Let's go"
Then they both got in the ship and left off for Mars.
"I'm so glad that you're coming with me Leela" said Fry "I'll finally get a chance to show someone how good the 20th century was"
At Planet Express Hermes asked the Professor,
"Do you think it was a good idea for Leela to go with Fry?"
"I don't know" answered the Professor.

An hour later Fry and Leela were coming back from Mars.
"Leela, I'm hungry, can we stop in at a 'Fishy Joe's" asked Fry.
"No, we are not stopping" said Leela.
"Please?" asked Fry again.
"No"
"Please?"
"No"
"Please?"
"No"
"Pleeeease?"
"NOOOO!!!" screamed Leela turning to Fry. Then she turned around and saw another spaceship coming straight for them. Leela tried to turn the ship away but scraped the other ship knocking the Planet Express ship's power off. The next thing Fry knew, they were plummeting towards thr ground. Everthing was a blur. Then every thing went black,
Fry woke up. His whole body was hurting like crazy! He got to his feet and went over to Leela. She looked horrible. Scrathes, broken bones and wounds everywhere. Then Fry looked outside.
"Oh no!" he screamed. "The ships gonna blow!!"
He tried to unbuckle Leela but he was sweating so much he couldn't. He didn't have any time left. He was forced to jump out of the window. He landed hard.
"LEELA!!!!" he yelled over the explosion. Then he was knocked off his feet and everything went black.


I would like to hear your comments.

Citizens of PEEL never fear, PART 3 is here!!!


Fry woke up a week later in a hospital bed. Bender, Amy, Dr Zoidberg, Professor Farnsworth, Scruffy and Hermes were all crowded around Fry's bed.
"Ooh, my head" groaned Fry. "How long have I been asleep?"
"A week!" answered Hermes.
"Whoa. Hey, who are you?" Fry asked pointing at Scruffy.
"Scruffy... the janitor." said Scruffy.
"Fry," said the Professor. "I've got some good news! I finished building the time machine!"
"Wow! That's great! I can't wait to tell Leela we're going to... Oh no!" gasped Fry remembering. "Leela! How is she?!?"
"Uuum..." said Bender softly. "Sorry, pal. She didn't make it."
"WHAT?!?" yelled Fry getting out of his bed. "That can't be right! I mean, they could've been wrong or... they could do more tests or...or..or"
"Fry, calm down." Said Amy.
"Yes Fry." added the Professor. "The hospital never gets anything wrong."
"No, no, NOOOO!!!" Screamed Fry. "That can't be true!!"
Fry ran out of the room screaming deliriously.
"Oh no." said the Professor.
"Why do I see this ending in fire?" said Hermes. Then they all ran out of the room after Fry.

"NO! This can't be!!" yelled Fry running all through the hospital. "Where is the room of Turanga Leela?!?"
Then he ran around a corner and bashed straight into Bender. Bender grabbed on to Fry.
"Fry! Calm down!" yelled Bender.
"No!" screamed Fry. "I won't calm down! I'll.."
Bender hit him across the face.
"Thanks buddy" said Fry calming down.
"In here" said Bender pointing to a door. They both went in. Bender showed Fry Leela. She was dead.
"Everyone has to die soon. Sorry, pal" said Bender.
Fry looked down at the ground and started to cry.
"Why did it have to be her?!?" Fry yelled. "Why couldn't it have been Dr Zoidberg?!"
"I know," said Bender. "We all want that."

To be honest, those parts are all a little too short to go up on TLZ as a proper fan fiction. We generally have a size regulation. If, when done, it was all in one big fic, then certainly.

Hey, JDB!  Is Leela really alive in your story, or is she dead, or will it all turn out to be a dream?  If you don't want to reveal the ending, that's okay.  So far your story is almost like "The Sting" in reverse, but only this time, Fry thinks Leela's dead.

Yeah, it is sort of like the Sting in reverse, I never thought of that.
(If you're wondering, I wrote this before I had even seen 'the sting')

Here's one I wrote in honor of the Nirvana Box Set.  It's like a commercial I made up about it:

Everyone in Planet Express just got done listening to all three CDs and the DVD of the Nirvana Box Set.

Fry: And that was the Nirvana Box Set, ladies, bots, and gents!  What did you all think?

Leela:  They were real musical genuises!  Especially for the 20th century!  I must say, I'm impressed!

Fry: What about you, Hermes?

Hermes:  It was good, but it would've been better with some Jamaican beats!

Fry: What about you, Zoidberg?  Did you like it?

Zoidberg (sobbing):  That music is so beautiful!  It really touched my heart of hearts! (continues sobbing).

Fry: So, did you like it, Amy?

Amy:  Spluh!  It was awesome!  Wait until all the girls in Kappa Kappa Wong hear that I heard a band that was popular in the 20th century!  They'll be so jealous!

Fry:  And, you Professor?

Prof. Farnsworth:  I didn't have time to listen to it, I was already asleep!

Fry:  You, Bender?  Did you like it?

Bender:  Play that 'Beans' song again!  And that song 'Old Age' reminds me of the professor!  That song 'Curmedgeon' describes me best!

Fry:  And there you have it, folks!  Nirvana Box Set 'With the Lights Out'!  Get it today, fans!

Here's one I wrote:

Everyone in Planet Express just finished reading KurtPikachu2001's fanfic.

Fry: And that was the Kurt's ficlet, ladies, bots, and gents! What did you all think?

Leela: Was everyone in the 21st Century this thickheaded? What's it doing in JDB's thread? In what way does a CD commercial even qualify as a story?

Fry: What about you, Hermes?

Hermes: It would be so much better if he made one thread for all his fanfics instead of starting tons of too-specific ones and spamming other writers' threads with his own work. That's what the Jamaicans do. And I'm Jamaican. And I have dreadlocks.

Fry: What about you, Zoidberg? Did you like it?

Zoidberg (sobbing): That fanfic is so horrible! It really crushed my heart of hearts! (continues sobbing).

Fry: So, did you like it, Amy?

Amy: Spluh! It was awful! Also, I'm in a sorority. Kappa Kappa Wong. See? I'm in character!

Fry: And, you Professor?

Farnsworth: Look at me! I'm an old man!

Fry: You, Bender? Did you like it?

Bender: The Professor's old! The song 'Dumb' reminds me that Kurt once again put his story in the wrong thread!

Fry: And there you have it, folks! KurtPikachu2001, n00b for fifteen months and counting! Wise up today, Kurt!

And um Tongue Luck, why are you so funny? Seriously? Do you know how annoyed I was after reading one of his wrong-thread-fanfic posts yet AGAIN (obviously- you were annoyed too)... anyway, point was that um, I read your post and I was kind of glad the whole thing happened because that was really amusing to read. And true.

Anyway back ON TOPIC (IN WHICH THERE ARE NO RANDOM FICS THAT ARE NOT JDB'S INVOLVED), I am interested in seeing what happens here, man, and where you take the storyline. So do write more.

Important Message about my story!!

I've lost my book which I wrote it in. It might take me a while to find it. (We've just had a big cleanup in my house and my Mum moved all of my stuff) I'm looking for it now, so as soon as I find it, I'll put it up here. It shouldn't take me long to find it as long as it hasn't been thrown out!!!

Kurt, it has nothing to do with "not liking your ideas." Your ideas aren't the problem. You're just spamming. Nobody would care if you would make a thread for ALL of your ideas and put any idea you might come up with in that thread. You're not supposed to post YOUR fanfic or fanfic ideas in SOMEONE ELSE'S fanfic thread. That's why you create your own, so you can post as much crap in there as you want and people can give you real feedback because it's not being shoved down their throats or pissing them off immensely because of its misplacement. How many times have people asked you not to do this? Just make your own thread, dude. ONE thread to post in. Then you can have your own little place and you don't have to keep spamming. People will read it and reply to it if they want to. It's kind of hard to ignore something so annoying since it's sitting right there in the wrong place AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN, and in different places. You dig?

JDB, sorry to hear about the fanfic :/. Hope you find it soon!

Haha, what a coincidence, I lost the notebook I was keeping my fan fic in too    . Fifty pages of my best work, missing. I hope I find it, I really need to finnish it. I'm only half way done.

Oh that sucks. But why the hell didn't you save it to disk? I have an 60+ page fic saved to a disk that never leaves my computer drive. In order for me to lose it my comp would have to get up and walk away with it.

Good News Everyone! I found my story! And we now return to my fanfic, already in progress...


PART 4

Back at Planet Express, Fry and Amy are sitting on a couch.
"I know you're upset but you can't just sit on this couch all day" said Amy.
Fry didn't answer.
"I'm just saying," Said Amy. "You've got to get over this..."
"It was me." said Fry.
"Excuse me?" asked Amy.
"It was me." said Fry again. "If I hadn't of asked her to stop in at Fishy Joe's, if only I hadn't of been so STUPID!!" he screamed slamming his fist down on the couch. "If I hadn't of done those things, Leela wouldn't be... wouldn't be..."
"Fry" Professor Farnsworth interrupted. "Will you be going back to the 20th Century?"
"I'll make my decision over dinner" said Fry sadly. "I just want to be alone."
Then he walked out of the room.
"Hey Professor," said Amy. "Can't Fry just use the time machine to go back and stop Leela from crashing?"
"No way!" the professor answered. "That would screw up the 30th century! We don't want that happening, do we?!?"

That night everyone was having dinner at Planet Express because of Fry. Fry was silent the whole time until everyone had finished eating.
"I've made my choice," said Fry. "I'm going back tommorrow."
That night Fry couldn't sleep. He was having Nightmares about the crash. Then he saw Leela, but something was wrong. This sent him over the edge.
"AAAAARRGH!!!!" he screamed sitting up in his bed. He was sweating all over his body. He couldn't get back to sleep...

Really good story.  I'm glad you found it.  I want to apologize for writing that commercial in your thread.  I always think that threads like this are about everyone writing whatever kind of fanfic they want. 

So, again keep up the good work with the fanfic.  I'll look forward to seeing it on a website one day.

Thanks!  After I finish this story, you can put stories, commercials, basically anything you wrote in this thread until I write another fanfic. Also, Futurama Nerd and Venus, if you don't want to start a new thread, you can put your stories in this one after I'm finished, if you want.
