Futurama Tattoo Flash?

Since I've just seen three dumb posts in a row by three dumb people(except maybe Gwan), I'll try and assist and decipher this cryptic message.

I think what this person is looking for is art in tattoo form. I don't think anyone in here has that, but this forum is for art in general. Check the threads(most notably "General Fan Art Goes Forth) if you see anything you like. Lots of scan art, drawings, animated gifs, etc.

Yes, that would make sense but the word "flash" kind of threw me off.

I'm thinking the animation software, unless I'm unaware of something else.

It may be a terrible desperate pickup line, but its funny... 

Tattoo art eh? I know the style but can't think of any futurama versions, except for the bender and fry tattoos in the letters page of one of the comics, and they were in the usual groening style.
If you can't find any here ( http://futurama-madhouse.com.ar/fanart/index3.shtml ), then it probably doesn't exist.

In the tattoo world, the flash (or flash sheet) is the sheet of paper with the tat designs printed on it. Usually actual size. These are displayed on the walls of the tattoo parlor for the customers to choose from.

That last tattoo pic is pretty neat!
I was half assed thinking of getting a Bender tattoo but I would have no where to put it!</sarcasm>  That and it would clash with my Faith tattoo (from Buffy)

The first one's just scary (probably made by some photoshop geek with way too much time on his hands). Damn, I just described myself  .

The second one's just erm, hairy, but it looks OK I guess, nice and simple.

The third one looks great, although it would suck when it goes all faded and green.

As much as I love Futurama, I wouldn't go as far as having it scratched into my flesh. I'm all for encouraging others though  . If you do get it done River, please come back with photos (or not, depending on where you got it done...).

@BIG: You've got a Faith tattoo? Thats so awesome!

What can I say?  I'm a rebellious geek!    My tattoo is on my right arm (like Faith) but instead of being black, it's a blue (not unlike the background color of PEEL) and has a bit of grey shading making it stand out a bit more.

You know I actually had a pic of it at some point in time.  They took a picture when it was finished to put in the guy's album but I guess it's not online anymore, just the original at the store.  No prob.  I'll just have to take the pic myself.....BRB

Well this is the best I could come up with.  Not the greatest but at least it gives you an idea what it looks like.  (Man I really need to invest in a newdigital camera)

Neat, just like Faith's tattoo, but with funky colours!
It's the original version too... (it got changed slightly in season 7 for some weird reason)

Anyway, *tries to get back on-topic*

Would anyone here actually consider getting a futurama tattoo, if there were a good range of designs available?

What would you get and where?

Wouldn't it be ironic if someone got Bender tattooed on their ass with Bender saying "Bite my shiny metal ass?"  That would be good for a chuckle! 

On  a side note:  I never noticed that Faith's tattoo changed a bit in Season 7...Maybe I should bring out my Buffy dvd's and have a watch.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but I was googling "futurama tattoos" and I got all happy when PEEL came up first on the list. I wuv you guys. 

While I'm here, I might as well add something relevant:

The OP was perfectly understandable to tattoo geeks. "Flash art" is art drawn specifically for tattoos. It's better to use flash than photos of other people's tattoos, because folks get kind of angry when you steal their design. Of course, the BEST thing is to tell your artist what you're wanting and have him draw it up for you from scratch.

That first photo is definitely faked, but the other two are real and awesome.

My girlfriend's brother is a tattoo artist and I've been thinking of getting him to put a Bender tattoo on my ass, just like Fry has in Bender's Big Score... I probably won't do it though.

Well the first one is still really hot so we'll just disregard that little set back of it not being real

this is mine the day it was done. which is why its so gooey.
that tattooist freehanded on me. didn't use any flash. i took the picture i wanted printed of this webpage and told him how i wanted it changed.
