Well, I saw the bracelet, and I knew its significance ... I just opted not to comment on it.

Also, I demand more subtle reference art!  The stuff that subtly reminds me of my favorite episodes is the best.  But I'm not going to suggest any, because I want to be surprised, and that'll hamper your creative flow anyway.

Anywho, your art freakin' rocks.  Keep up the good work.

I was bored this afternoon, so I spent the night drawing this little comic.

That's adorable, and I always commend for laziness (like using the same figures in every panel and just changing the eys and mouths  ).

Thank you everybody for your nice feedback! I'm so excited now, because someone (beside my closest friends) actually laughed! People usually dismiss my sense of humor as... Well, disgusting, weird, nasty etc... 

Leelaholic: Yeah, now that you mention it I notice that Leela does look a little skinny... There’s nothing to do about it now, though, but thank you for telling me about it.

Shaucker: Well, I'm a lazy person  I was going more for expressions and dialogue in the comic, so I didn't worry about using almost the same poses every frame.

Great comic,becky Also, I found a fanfic on zoidberg being a rock star or something. Don't worry, I'm still writing my fic, but I may have to have only Fry, Leela,and Bender starting a band,just for originality's sake.

But, anyway, Fry, Leela and Bender starting a band sounds great! Maybe Zoidberg can be a groupie or something, who wants to be in the band with them? But then he's rejected all the time because he's not cool enough? I think it would fit his character

They're fighting over Fry, of course!  Leela has a love letter he wrote her (possibly the one she flushed and discovered in "Leela's Homeworld" ), and Amy is referring to the scar on her shoulder from when Fry's head was attached in PYHOMS.

About the person Leela and Amy are fighting over: Zoidberg227, you got it! Well, technically Benderfan got it (congrats!), but you got the references!

I decided to put the letter Fry wrote in Leela’s hand to sort of prove that this was earlier in the series, when Amy wasn't dating Kif. So then there'd be a reason for Amy and Leela to fight over Fry, and maybe a reason for the letter to get flushed down the tubes.
But I really like the fact that you got the letter-reference, because I doubted anyone would. You don’t see very much of the letter in “Leela’s Homeworld”.

I was actually in the middle of writing a post a few hours ago, when a friend of mine rang the doorbell. So I couldn't reply until now. Sorry! Your feedback really means a lot to me!

Dr. Jerkbird: I'm the next Daniela? That's so nice of you to say! My inspiration usually comes at night when I'm trying to sleep. I just try really hard to find ideas of what I might draw, and every now and then I get some. What I do is I think of an episode, and then I sort of skim through it in my mind. Little details inspire me to draw something that's linked to those.
But other times the ideas just come out of nowhere 
Anyway, if you want to draw the characters, you should trace some framegrabs, either digitally or printed-out versions. Then you get the basics of the characters anatomy etc. and you'll be able to draw them. All you need is a little patience  Good luck to you, by the way! Maybe I'll post the pictures I traced (and actually kept) back in July and August for you.

I always thought 'roswell that ends well' was a sick version of back to the future, where Marty and his mother- , erm, maybe I shouldn't take this sentence any further  . Anyway, cool pic becky!, my favourite one so far.

I like the shading style in the pencil sketches, especially the Leela and Amy one, normally with linear shading it looks too scratchy, but yours seems to follow the curves of the characters really well. Have you always drawn things in that style or was it something you came up with for futurama?

Keep the good stuff coming - TLZ has you ranked at second place at the moment! That may change (I'm not sure how these ranking things work out), but its a damn impressive opening.

Also, don't let school stop you drawing, you do have art classes don't you?

I love your coloring style...none of that "fill with color" garbage for you! The Leela drawing is lovely, but the way she's twisted looks a bit wonky to me.

And about my coloring: Well, I've colored stuff like that before, but when I started doing Futurama art I just developed my shading a little more.
Nah, school won't stop my drawing. I’m supposed to study for a test I have tomorrow, but instead I'm sketching out an idea for a one-page comic with the keywords “Zoidberg” and “Halloween”.

Like I just said somewhere else, I love the simplistic style of pencil drawn/pencil shaded pictures. That Leela/Amy picture a bit up the page is great; I like how Amy's using her scar as evidence...
