I misunderstood what you said about your Lara Croft drawing.  I thought it was going to be a Futurama character in a video game style.  That would've been a huge coincidence because I mentioned that in the fic I'm writing.

Also, grade A material.  I like the pose.  It's very action-oriented, but it still very falttering to her suppleties.  And I noticed you did it in the style of Bruce Timm, a point not lost on me, the Batman the Animated Series-junkie that I am.  Excellent choice of background once again.  And though I can't quite get a fix on the model of pistols she's packing (comped-out, extended Ruger 94's maybe?) they look pretty good.  The grips are a little thinner than they should be on a gun that size, but otherwise, very menacing.

The guns are, more or less, pseudo Desert Eagles sorta from memory and sorta made up.
If you  look really close, you'll notice that
they don't even match!  ;D

Those don't look like standard Deagles, but if they're totally original they still look pretty good.  You could call them "Desert Owls" or something.  I noticed they didn't match, but I thought that was perspective or lighting or some other artistic thing I don't really understand (shapes, colors, etc.)

You're some artist.  I love the pirate style to most of your arts and the broken bender was absolutely fabulous.  Any plans to do more in that style?

The broken Bender in the dumpster?
It was a fluke I caught that, because that photo was 95% as is
except for the eyes and antenna and a tiny bit of extanding the existing scrap metal.
Oh, yeah, more pyrate stuff to come, and more photo stuff as well.
I'm working on a new Farnsworth and I really need to do a couple new Owls vs Slurm pieces.

Cap'n, may I bow in your presence.  Your art is some of the best original artwork I have seen in a long while, given the fact I hardly visit this section anymore.

I like the way everything(nearly) is pirate related, although the inspiration choice of 3D Wernstrum made - broken Benderish Robot is my favourite, which I could do/could have done 3D.

Stop by more often, then.
But even I don't look through all the fan art thread as much as I should. There's gobs of great stuff by lots of talented people here abouts.
Yeah, the Wernstrom is kinda 3D looking, but not because of any 3D program. It's a photo of some busted electronic bits I saw on the sidewalk one day. Made for a perfect busted robot photmanipulation. I did a couple sorta like that - Bender in the dumpster, and the Good Book 3.0

Who doesn't heart Borg?  He was one hell of a tennis player.

Seriously though, you've provided us with another treat, Cap'n.  It seems like Farnsy should be a little greener to match, what appears to be in my mind, the background-related ambience.  Classiness through and through.  There's a joke here about assimilating some talent or something, but I just can't find it.

Dogwitch is a black and white comic book about a cyber-goth witch girl named Violet Grimm.
I think the term "dogwitch" refers to an outcast witch.

Fool!  A quip about riding your broomstick would've been far more delicious!

Very nice, Cap'n.  I like the feel that the black and white gives it.  It's very appropriate (somehow I imagine most ultra-goths don't like to be photographed in color).  The shading and the way her skirt looks sort of suggest to me more of an outdoors, witching hour, "bark at the Moon"-type setting, but I like the way Leela's staged and worked into the scene.  Who's that behind her, by the way?
