Yeah, there are a lot of Sealab eps I've only seen once or twice.. I've seen every ATHF like 5 times. So at least it's fresher.. Though I'll miss making my Mom watch Meatwad with me every night.
EDIT:TOTPSmoke.

Well.. in all honesty, I can. She's just plain annoying. And if it's boobs I want, I know where to find em without being annoyed.
It's Stormy, Murphy and Hesh, you see. Can't never get enough of them.

Sealab is far less consistently funny than ATHF. There are some genuinely funny parts in Sealab, but many times the just resort to just randomly saying dirty things or someone showing thier boobs.

Hesh is annoying. I can't stand that idiot. But I agree, Stormy and Murphy are the best characters.

I also agree that they're the best characters, but how can you say Hesh is annoying?! He's hilarious! Plus, he's mc chris!

Sort of. I never bought the DVD set since I would rather watch on the show on Adult Swim.

I'd say they're worth the price. ATHF is no longer on weekday rotation, and You 16 episodes, deleted scenes, 3 commentaries, and some extras on V1, and 14 episodes (including the SGC2C ep "Baffler Meal" ), deleted scenes, 4 commentaries, and some extras on V2.

I suspect that they spread out only 13 episodes over 2 discs just to hike up the price, but I can't really complain. I bought both volumes and I don't regret it. The commentaries, deleted scenes and early character concept drawings are neat, and I'm happy to have the episodes themselves without having to record them (badly) myself. There are also several hidden features on both sets, you just have to fish for them.

The price is only because it's a 2-DVD set.

The DVD set's worth it just for the complete "This is your left" video. And don't miss "Future Wolf II", it's awesome.

Aug 15, 2004 will be another day we'll live in infamy, or is it?

I've seen promos that on Aug 15, will be the airing of the final episode.  If that is true, then that sucks.  I started watching ATHF and now they are cancelling it?  It seems August is becoming my least favorite month.  For this and the fact that schools usually start in late August.

However, I've been hearing rumors that the show's creators are making this up, that the show really isn't cancelled.  Apparently, they done this for other previous shows, like Harvey Birdman, from what I've heard.  Is there any truth to this?

I really hope that this isn't really the last episode. Though I won't be able to see this episode 'cause I'm going somewhere. Please, let this be a rumor.

Last Episode? We Think Not

Yes, we've seen the bumps from Adult Swim. Do we think they're funny? YES! Do we think they're real? Hell no. This is the same stuff they did before when the DVD's were coming out. This is the same stuff they did when Harvey Birdman was reaching its last episode of the season. We're not falling for it.

We the editors, as well as SEVERAL fan sites have schedules for Adult Swim, some going as far as the first week of October. All show the set of Aqua Teen shows we have listed, as well as blank spots for episodes that haven't been made yet. On top of that, (small commentary here), how stupid do the people at Williams Street think the fans are? ATHF is their biggest money maker. To end it without a good reason would be ratings suicide. Plus, what are they going to replace it with? More reruns of Brak? Granted, they occasionally have an anarchist attitude toward their product, and love to mess with fans frequently by doing stuff like this. But really, is anyone with a computer and an IQ over 75 really buying this one?

To our knowledge, it's not going away. And if by some reason it does go away, we're sure it's just the staff screwing with the fans, and they'll bring it back eventually. But again, we say, To OUR KNOWLEDGE AND FACTS WE'VE BEEN GIVEN, THE SHOW WILL STILL BE ON THE AIR AFTER AUGUST 14TH.

Does that mean there will be new episodes after Aug 15? or that it will continue on in rerun form as Futurama?

Probably new eps. He says there are blank spots in the schedule for eps that haven't been made yet, and AS is pretty good about finishing off a season they've already scheduled (just look at Home Movies). Whether the show is cancelled or not, there will be new eps after August 15. That alone should tell you it's just a joke and it's not cancelled at all.

Considering that the Adult Swim website has had summaries for about 5 new episodes on its episode guide for more than a month now, it's obvious the show isn't done. Plus, the show seems more popular now than ever.  Why would they cancel it? The answer is: They wouldn't.  Don't get excited over nothing.

Well, if this is a joke by CN than thank goodness.  CN has done this before.  I won't know because I just watch Futurama and Family Guy on Adult Swim and pay no attention to the promos of other shows.  It was only this year that I really got into ATHF and a little into Harvey Birdman, so I'm not used to Adultswim's promotional ploys.

I hope they don't take the show in the direction that the two recent episodes seem to hint at. It looks like it'll start having more Sealab-esque shock humor. (sofa king we todd ed, Carl's obsession with the shrink ray) However, the characters in ATHF are tons better than in Sealab, and I am looking forward to the new Mooninite and MC Pee Pants episodes.

It's funny to see that word used here, but good lord has it been murdered on the Adult Swim boards (one of the many reasons I stopped posting there). Tossing out a favorite phrase or word from a TV show/movie/whathaveyou is fun, but no one  likes a hideous misuse of terminology.

Anyhow...AS does tend to prank its own audience from time to time, so I figured (and hoped) that those ads were just jokes. Good to know that they were.

I dunno, I just caught most of ATHF season 2 on my friend's DVD, and I have to say I was disappointed with those episodes.  Aside from the "Cybernetic Ghost" and "Mail Order Bride" episodes, there weren't a whole lot of memorable/funny episodes.  Part of the problem with the randomness of the show is that being *too* random hurts the show's flow.
