I hav'ent seen the newest THoH ep unfortunately but I heard there was a really cool bit with dolphins, is that ep good?

The 3D one wasn't great because it was overly funny, although it had it's moments (Has anyone ever seen the movie Tron?).  What made it great was Seeing Homer and Bart in 3D and Homer in the real world (Ooh!  Erotic cakes!  Mmm . . . chocolate . . .).

Since making this thread, I've now seen the newer THoH eps. I love number 11 and 12, but the newest one is quite freaky hmpf The part where Homer keeps cloning himslef is great, but the other 2 segments are just plain bad. And Dr Hibberts animal Island was freaky.

Since the new Treehouse of Horror is upon us, I thought it would be appropriate to reserect this thread.

My favorite is still "The attack of the Homer Clones", one of the reasons is that they showed Peter griffin.

But I agree with the other guy about the other two segments, they were kind of stupid, especially the Dr. Hibbert one.

From "Time and Punishment", THoH V
Bart: Dad your hands in the toaster.
Homer: AAAAHHHHHH
Get it off! Get it off!
(Homer bangs toaster against counter to get it of.  Then Homer slumps to the floor.)
Homer: Whew that was close.
Bart: Dad it's on there again!
Homer AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The 6th one is my favourite with the 3D bit. That is excellent!!
I love the quote:
Frink: This is a normal square..
Wiggum: Whoa, whoa! Slow down Egghead!

and also:
Homer: I ordered a colossal donut and I'm gonna get a colossal donut!

Funny, funny stuff!

Well, I loved "The Shinning" and "Time and Punishment", and "Dial Z for Zombies", but my favourite is still "Attack of the 50-Foot Eyesores"(He came to life.  Good for him!) And now, time for quotes!

From "The Shinning":

Moe: So, what'll it be, Homer?
Homer: Moe! Gimme a beer!
Moe: No.  Not unless you kill your family.
Homer: Why should I kill my family?
Moe: Uh...they'd be much happier as ghosts.
Homer: You don't look so happy.
Moe: Oh I'm happy! I'm very happy! La-la-la-la-la-la-la, see! NOW WASTE YOUR FAMILY AND I'LL GIVE YOU A BEER!

Dial Z for Zombies:

Homer (cocks shotgun): To the book depository!
(Family runs to car. Homer fumbles with keys)
Zombie Flanders: Hey, Homer, I'm feeling a mite peckish.  Mind if I chew your ear?
(Homer shoots him.  Family gasps)
Bart: Dad, you killed the zombie Flanders!
Homer: He was a zombie?

I'd say the best ones are THOH V and VI. They have probably the best segment. But I voted for "Homer3" because of its sheer awesomeness.
"Man, this place looks expensive. I'm probably wasting a fortune just standing here."
I also love Homer's shrill "Oops" when he impales the cone into the floor and the universe starts sinking.
