I believe these are all the films he directed, though I may be wrong.

Terminators 1 and 2, but Aliens very close behind...

Given that you only have 6 options, wouldn't it have been smarter to split up Terminators I & II, especially since your poll is about the best individual film?

And have people vote against a certain Terminator movie?  I think not, they are of the same fanchise thus they are together.

Aliens. And has anyone seen the battery-driven armoured car from General Dynamics on the news? I’m sure one of their designers must be an Aliens fan.

Aliens, it is close between that and The Terminator, but as that got lumped with Terminator 2 I couldn't vote for that.

I will go with the terminators. Best films with cyborgs coming from the future to kill some woman then some kid ever.  :p

James also made another film, 'Xenogenesis' (1978) - his debut film as a director.

Piranha II of course... (I've never even heard of that movie

Did he make Aliens or Alien?  Cause Alien is better.

Nah, Alien was directed by Ridley Scott.

I also don't understand why there's a poll about James Cameron and not one about Scorsese,Roman Polanski, Robert Altman and other legends more deserving of a poll than James "I'm the king of the world" Cameron.

I understand that the power loader fight from Aliens was based on a similar fight in this movie.

If you want to watch Aliens or Terminator 2, be sure you watch the extended versions.  They're much better than the theatrical versions, which are just disappointing if you've seen the extended versions.

I saw 'Xenogenesis' a fair while ago during a film-class, and to be honest - I can't really remember much.

I'll have to get a copy of it to compare the films, but I'm pretty sure when Ripley is fighting off the Queen in 'Aliens' - there is an extremely similar scene in 'Xenogenesis'. Also, there might be a scene similar to 'Terminator 2' aswell.

I've looked around and the best I could find was of this review of 'Xenogenesis' from IMDB. Click

James Cameron also created the show Dark Angel.  It sucks that show lasted only two seasons, thanks to FOX.

And It's surprising that FOX would have discarded such a famous and skilled director as Cameron.

I'd go for Terminator I/II, I never really liked Aliens much.

True but the second series was nowhere near as good as the first, it was just another week another mutant.
