Well obviously, Mr. Garrison has a detachable penis that partied too much one night and got stuck in Kyle's knees. Can't wait.

This episode looks dumb. But then again, I guess they all look dumb at first...

They should have given Mrs. Garrison hairplugs.

Hmmmm, considering that most South Park episodes sound like absolute shit on paper, I will wait to pass judgement on this one.

Here, chico.
Slightly more information, too:

The boys’ teacher gets in touch with his feminine side in the ninth season premiere of “South Park," entitled "Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina," premiering Wednesday, March 9 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central.

Mr. Garrison goes to great lengths to get what he’s always wanted…a sex change. As he enjoys his new womanly attributes, the rest of the town gets in touch with their inner feelings too. Meanwhile, Kyle wrestles with the fact that Jews just aren’t good at basketball.

Actually, I get my info from South Park Alliance. They get it a bit faster than South Park Studios, and they're updated more often.

As for the "Kyle's knees" bit - I'd assume Kyle hurts his leg while playing basketball, is treated at the same hospital Mr. Garrison gets a sex change, and the doctors accidentally insert his testicles into his knees or something... I don't know, leave me alone, god damnit!  :p

What kind of doctor accidently inserts testicles into somebody's knees?  :p

Ahem... you've been watching South Park for HOW long, and haven't noticed that all professionals in the show are completely incompitent morons?  ;)

Seriously though, maybe the doctor has to open up Kyle's leg and insert a metal plate or something to support him, and then the testicles accidentally fall in... somehow?

Sounds like a B-plot to me, I'm betting the focus is more-or-less on Mr. Garrison's sex change. Speaking of which - what will Mr. Slave say?! He only does it with men, and Garrison seemed more than quite content with them being a gay couple. Oh well, we'll know the answers to everything in under 24 hours, anyway.

I suppose the good thing with South Park is that since it takes so short to make, plots really can't be leaked outside of Comedy Central's press releases, so everything is surprising when you first see it... at least for you damn Americans, anyway. Always spoiling everything for us 56ker Aussies! Bastards.  :p

Maybe the whole thing starts because Mr. Slave wants to try it with a lady... Dunno but we'll find out soon enough!

That would make sense, but it still wouldn't explain the fact that the description says that Mr. Garrison's always wanted a sex change... but then again, it's not like a South Park episode press release hasn't been wrong before.

Maybe Mr. Slave wanted to screw a lady before  the episode started, and they start it with a flashback.

I think that was the sickest episode ever made. Even more sick than the X-mas animal episode. When they show the real life parts it made me want to barf. I liked it way better than the animal episode for some reason.:\

Kind of mediocre, but as always, it was better than I expected. Kyle's dad as a dolphin was awesome.

In true South Park fasion, that episode was disturbing, yet I liked it.

Yeah, Kyle's dad as a dolphin was hilarious.

Sorry to disagree with everyone, but that South Park was one of the worst I've seen. It wasn't funny, it wasn't that clever, and it was just too damn disturbing. Mr. Garrison as a woman was pretty much a one-note joke, and I'd rather seen more of Mr. Slave, and their relationship actually getting patched up. Kyle's basketball B-story asn't that great either, and the entire episode in itself was just all over the place. In short, I didn't like it... at all.

Well I thought it was great.  Matt and Trey haven't lost a bit of thier ability to make things that are horribly wrong hysterically funny.  And you gotta love the dolphin fantasy.

The good kind of weird, like Monty Python, or the bad kind of weird, like Michael Jackson?

I watched an oldie last night, The Iceman episode.

It was quite amusing because it felt so 99 to me.

Mr Garrisons Fancy New Vagina
I spent all night downloading it, so when I finally watched it, I thought to myself "This better be good."
I skipped the real life footage because it's 7:00 in the morning and that's the last thing I want to see after I've just woken up. On to the actual review:
It didn't start out very well, to tell you the truth. Until it got to Mrs Garrison trying to fit in. "Wow, just look at all these tampons!"
It progressed really well, but there were a few stupid points.
Overall, though, a great episode. Especially the dolphinoplasty. "That dolphin has my scrotum!"

This isn't as good of a season opener as "Fun with weapons".

The part with the surgery almost had me sick, as I was chewing a big mouthful of food at the time. I could hardly stand to watch, yet my little 9 year old brother must be completely desensitized, because he absorbed every moment of it without any trouble at all! He was eating too!

901: Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina.

Oh my god... that has to be the most fucked up South Park episode EVER. Even more fucked up than Scott Tenorman Must Die, Proper Condom Use, Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset and Woodland Critter Christmas all put together. I mean, I had heard that this episode was really disturbing and disgusting, but I never thought it would go THAT far. The footage in the operation, Mrs. Garrison's breasts (anyone notice they also did a bad job censoring the girl on the right just before him?), Kyle's knees exploding... It well & truly surpassed any expectations I had of the episode being disgusting.

Having said that though, it was fucking hilarious - and right up there with Good Times With Weapons, Rainforest Schmainforest and The Tooth Fairy's TATS 2000 as one of the best season premieres yet. The plot was deliberately and intentionally dumb, yet it worked so well. Plus, the episode had THREE storylines, which is always a bonus, considering most South Park episodes don't even have a B-story.   :)

I'd have to say though that Gerald's plot was the funniest. I was laughing my ass off whenever he was on screen. Kyle's plot wasn't that good, though (since WHEN has Kyle wanted to be black?), especially for a main character. Can't say I cared much for Mrs. Garrison, either - didn't find him funny at all as a woman, and I'm VERY pissed off that he'll remain that way. He was funny before, damnit! Matt & Trey, don't destroy a character like that for no reason!!!

Overall, an intentionally dumb and fucked up plot, just the way I like it. Maybe crossed the line a little TOO much at times, but still, it was very funny, and a nice way to open the season.

8.5/10

"So let me get this straight... that woman over there was trying to get to her balls, which were in the knees of a black child whose father is a dolphin?"

EDIT: Oh, almost forgot to post this. Brief synopsis for the next episode...

Episode 902: Die Hippie, Die
Cartman seeks to rid the world of hippies once and for all

Not much information released yet. Hopefully the episode will have a little more substance than just Cartman being an asshole and simple hippie-bashing, that'd just be lame. Still, I'll wait until I see it to judge.
