I like the method they're using to kill Kenny now, only killing him once or twice in a season or so, instead of beginning the episode expecting Kenny to die your wondering if Kenny will die in this episode or not, it's kind of the way they intended it to be in the first place-unpredictable.

Well, yeah, but I still miss the Kenny deaths before.
So, even if Kenny is alive, he will be dead in our hearts...

Agreed. Some of these episodes that are based on recent events may be very funny, but in 5 years they will not have the same effect.

I just voted for Kenny on the class president. Cartman and Butters are in the lead so far.

Heh, cool. I've got every episode on tape, besides Season 8, of course, which is yet to air in Australia... although I have every episode from 613+ in DivX form on disc, too. Sometimes, you just can't wait for them to come on TV.  :)

Has anyone noticed that some of the episodes titles on SP Studios have changed? I could've sworm that 303 used to be called Chef's Mama, not The Succubus...

For some reason earlier, I had this stuck in my head:

"Well, if Saddam Hussein were an 8-year old boy and the United States was my penis..."

I've always wondered why Saddam Hussein was modeled after the Canadians, he's not Canadian, but it's still funny.

Most play-offs of existing people are based on the Canadian design, not just Saddam Hussein. Ben Assleck, anyone?   :flirt:

When does the 2nd part of the season start airing? The few ones I *acquired* have been great, so I am really looking forward to this.

EDIT: Spelled acquired wrong.

The one where they found out Earth was a reality TV show was on again last night. I'd been waiting to see this one again for a while!

"Wait a minute...candy bars! Candy bars come in a wrapper like you wrap a Christmas present...Christmas happens when it's cold...it's cold in Alaska...Alaska has polar bears...polar...pol..arity! We just have to change the polarity of the signal!"
"Aww yeah! Suck my jagon! Aww yeah suck it suck it!"

Here's another Team America article which I found very interesting:  http://www.azcentral.com/ent/movies/articles/0918team18.html

By the way, Bender&fry - South Park returns in late October.   :)

Late October? Are you talking Australian talk or is it true for Americans as well? Because I haven't heard a thing about this. I can't wait for it.

My favorite episode of South Park; has to be the one where they spoof Lord of The Rings. That one was just great.

I read a little interview with Parker and Stone in Newsweek, I think, and apparently they said "Oh, this movie is killing me! I'm so tired! I quit." during the making of the South Park movie.  I doubt they'll ever stop the show.

Oh, and the Team America trailers look terrible....  :)

I cant seriously picture a South Park series finale. I mean, when they do stop making it, how are they gonna stop it? Do they make a Series Finale and go out with a bang, or slowly let it fade into history?

I think in the last episode, the machines of every person/alien who has haunted South Park in the history of the show should fall out of the sky and crush the town at the end of a seemingly normal episode. That would be the best way to do it.

According to tvtome and Matt and Trey, South Park has until season 10 and then their contract with Comedy Central is over.

That won't be until 2006/07.

So, unless Comedy Central decides to rename the show, the show may be cancelled in another two years.

Sorry, for posting this on the wrong thread, I just saw "south park cancelled" on the search engine and assumed it was about south park being cancelled.  I don't memorize the names of the episodes of South Park.  And I just skimmed through the previous posts.

thank you winna, for pointing out at least I didn't make a new thread about this.

Knowing Matt and Trey's sense of humour, they'd probably end the final episode with either:
a) One huge anticlimax
b) A cliffhanger ending that NEVER gets resolved
c) A stupid ending that makes no sense, thus destroying the entire show (eg. it turns out that everyone was just mice dressed up as humans & were all just living in a draw on Saturn or something)

However, having said that - if you look at episodes like Cancelled and I'm A Little Bit Country, they probably would go out with a bang. Still, some of those things on that list aren't too far off. Personally, as much as I'd love to see it end in a big finale, a stupid anticlimax would just be a truly South Park-style way to end everything.  :)

I've always felt the show should end with the four boys getting into a delereon and flying away, ala the ending of "Back to the Future".  And I really have no idea why.

The series finale should go like this:
Jesus has been resurected and tells the boys their futres as adults.

Plus, I'm pretty sure Jesus WAS ressurected... we saw him in the crowd of singers at the end of I'm A Little Bit Country.
