"Cool World" is perhaps one of the worst films I have ever seen, and I've seen "Manos."  Imagine "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" but minus the humor, characterization, nice artwork, coherent story, etc.  "Cool World" is sleazy and poorly drawn cartoon porn.  And that's from someone who "likes" anime.
