This is the beginning of shows of the dead coming back to life! I'm pulling for Whose Line and Futurama!

The show didn't really come back from the dead per se.  These episodes were all recorded a long time ago as part of this extensive deal ABC made with Drew Carey and the show's producers when it was hot, basically giving Carey and Co. a ton of money for several guaranteed years of the show.  Ironically RIGHT after the ratings started to slip drastically, so ABC was stuck paying for a ton of episodes they didn't really want.  And since there's not much to show in the summer they've decided to finally burn off the remaining shows now.  Its actually pretty similar to Fox burning off the remaining Futurama episodes last summer, although in this case ABC is actually advertising it.

Anyways, this show should have gone off the air long ago.  Over at the No Homers Club there's a member (who's pretty credible, so I don't think he's lying or anything) that claims his uncle is the executive producer of the show, yet even he admits he's relieved the show is finally over with.

They did the same with Whose Line? . There is like 6 or 7 unairded episodes. I'm not a big fan of TDCS but I watch it when I can. I'm sorry that it is over but this thread still remains valid.

I liked The Drew Carry Show up until the whole Oswald/Kate almost getting married thing. They messed up the characters, and the show never recovered.

I'm sure there is a Drew Carey thread elsewhere  but anyway, I used to love this show back in the early days....It was great, I couldn't stop  laughing....Drew and Mimi insulting each other was always hilarious....!

I can't remember when it stopped being funny....possibly when Drew's cross-dressing brother showed up, fell in love with Mimi and wanted to have a baby... :nono: :nono:
I can't watch it anymore which is a shame, but if they ever replay the first few seasons over here I'll watch them....
