Aliens Vs Predator, Who ever wins we lose.

Who do you think will win?  My guess is 'Alien' would, due to its reproductive cycle.  But it will most likely be they will both die in an explosion of some sort.

Freddy Vs Jason, whats next Jesus Vs Satan?

Who do u think will win?

Just saw the trailer...

as a fan of both the alien series and of the AVP fps games (not that they have anything to do with the movie, mind, they just showcase what a cool concept it can be), I am looking forward to this film... it has the potential to not suck!

Am not!   :p

Though I whole heartedly agree with you about Resurrection, I should provide at least a token defence for Alien 3.

There. That oughta do it.

Who says there's going to be any fighting in the film? Hmmm?

Maybe Man is throwing an intergalactic luau and Aliens are bringing the beer and the Predators are bringing the nachos!!

Realistically, the aliens win. Based on the game, at least- they kick everything's ass in the game. But seeing as it is the all-American movie-with-American-soldiers, the humans will win in some lame "Independence Day"-way.

I'll just wait for AVP ]I[: Mega vs. Predator. ok, noone's gonna get that reference.

Are you all talking about the movie "Alien 5 Predator 3"?  Aliens would win hand down if given the chance, they don't seem to spread around enough.  But in Predator 2 you can see an alien skull thingy on the wall (one of the trophies), so these species must have battled it out before.  I'm going with aliens anyways, just so ya know.

Simple:
Aliens can regroup very fast.
The Preditors can't kill them all.

Haven't seen the trailer for it yet, is it going to follow the plot of 'Alien vs Predator: Prey'?
Aliens would win, they have the numbers.

Alien 3, wasn't the best of the alien series, but it was pretty good for Fincher's first major film.

As for Alien Resurrection, that was a good film, sure the story was a bit average in places, but overall it was pretty good. It is deffinatly the most stylistic of the Alien films.  That underwater chase sequence is breath taking.

And if u have seen any other films by the director of Resurrection (Juenet), you'll understand, 'Delicatesson' & 'City of the lost Children'

From best to worst Alien Films (1. best & 4 worst) But they are all good films & u can't argue with that.
1. Aliens (James Cameron)
2. Alien Resurrection (Juenet)
3. Alien (Ridley Scott)
4. Alien 3 (David Fincher)

I've seen City of Lost Children. I say that his style didn't transfer well over to the Alien's universe at all. Plus there were some very dumb lines.

It coulda used more BLAU, also.

(Didn't that guy also do Amelie? Meh. All Frogs are the same to me.  :p)

I didn't realize they all had different directors...

Alien is the scariest one.  Aliens was pretty good.  And Alien Ressurrection is an action movie, not really scary at all.  I wasn't much into Alien 3, but it's a try to return to Alien (with one alien and the fear factor part)

Aliens really Arent as Dangerous as they seem. The Marines just got their asses kicked because of an Incompetent commander, unfortunate circumstances. If the marines knew what they were doing in those specialised circumstances they could have come out on top. If you can keep from Completely Engaging with the Xeno's then it shouldnt be all that difficult to kill a few live for more. Something which predators are very good at doing.

Besides all that. As a function of Natural selection Aliens dont have a very good chance. They are so Dangerous that you know not to try and take them on you just nuke the Planet and be done with it. Sure its a horrible price but the Humans would technically win.

And you all know my opinions on Alien ressurection. It sucked because Joss Whedon was involved.

Yes but you would be less willing to with another species because you would be more confidant that you could deal with it conventionally.

Containment is the best policy with the Aliens. Cut em off, dont chase after them.

Not really, they did that in Aliens (James Cameron) and they came after them.  Equaly the same in Alien 3, they tried to cut them off as well, and i think only one person survied.

The best way to survive against aliens is stock up in weaponry and pray u have enough ammo.

That isn't true either.  Aliens have acid for blood, shooting them really doesn't help the problem.

And then you watch Alien3 : Directors cut and find out that they do indeed catch the alien and lock it in that big room only for a loony prisoner to release it a bit later on.

I'd like to see an facehugger take a predator down and then see the resulting alien popping out of its chest, it could be quite a nasty crossover for both the marines and predators.

True, true, i forgot about the acid blood.
SPeaking of, how does their skin hold the acid in? perhaps a similar principle to acid in a glass jar?

I guess its either run or outsmart them. Well i think its safe to say, that if you are in a room surrounded by aliens, your up shit creek and you better think of something fast!

Definately Predator. I mean, he has invisibility, you can't beat that. He could sneak up on him and just crack his skull open. Also, Predator seems to have all these high tech. gadgets.

have you played the game? You'd know that the alien is far superior to the predator. I've taken on MANY players who thought the predator was the big guy on campus, and I wiped my ass with every single one of them- in both AvP, AvP Gold and AvP ][... Invisibility only gives an advantage when they're up against humans, and their gadgets are fancy and all, but that's of little real use against a sneaky lone alien.

The ones in Aliens seemed like mindless "on with it" types, and they would be fairly easy to defeat, but the ones in Alien and Aliens (and some of the ones in A: Resurrection) were smart and sneaksy.

Yeah the predator really sucked in the AvP games. I usually played alien because it was much better than the other races.

Edit: I've only seen one predator player that didn't lose all the time. But I bet this guy could kick every ass on the server with any other race, too.

No, that gives them hive mentality, which is not all that good against predators and defensive humans...

I dont think it will do that bad, the games had a large following and Alien Director's Cut did pretty well in cinemas last year and it was a 25 year old movie
