They didn't do it to Futurama because Channel 4 already has Futurama, but it can't compare with the audience of The Simpsons or Friends. The Simpsons are a better replacement for Friends. Lets see, if BBC2 still have the Simpsons, this will be the 4th channel (including C4, Sky 1 and Network 2) to have the Simpsons, making my dream of 24 hour Simpsons a reality and make my parents go nuts.

Does this mean that terrestrial TV will finally be getting regular new episodes of The Simpsons? If so, bless you C4.

Excellent news this, I would definitely watch just so I could catch up first hand how things are going with the new Simpsons these days.

Its really not of much intrest since I've seen them already on Sky One plus there going to have to show season 12 first. the 2nd worst season of Simpsons ever. hopefully they'll repeat good episodes BBC2 had a strange Habbit of repeating Season 10. Maybe we'll even get E4 repeats.

I was impressed that C4 is giving the show such a prominent slot. But, as user_names_suck says, I've seen them all. And they ain't good, even the S13 onwards episodes to warrant a second viewing, IMHO. Hey, waitaminute. Freeloading Irish..... Anyway, if you want 24 hour Simpsons you just have to watch Sky One, the way they're going.

Hey, at least Sky are showing double Futurama on Fridays. Blasted BBC2, ruin my vision will ya!! *prods BBC2 with fork* And the British are just as much freeloaders as Irish. I notice that sometimes we get some series before Britain, like I remember seeing Scrubs before it came on Sky 1, and some Friends series too (not that I watched them).

I know I would have preferd it if they actually just completley delayed the airing of the beginning of the 15th season by about 2/3 months so we'd get them more regulary instead of having huge gaps in the middle of it. I mean were in the middle of a 6 week gap between 'Diatribe' and 'Margical history tour.' and then its another month untill 'Millhouse doesn't live here anymore' and from then we don't have any more infomation.

This is kinda clool, I guess. But I still wish BBC 2 kept them though, because at least then they didn't put crappy adverts halfway through, like C4 will...

Both BBC2 and Channel 4 have never been able to handle animated shows correctly and they generally put them in as filler.
I think Channel 4 should have stuck with Futurama, because they're already screwing up with that, never mind The Simpsons. Also The Simpsons will be dead by 2006.
