Lucas addded tiny laser blasts that hit on the wall beside Han from Greedo's gun in the two "special editions" before Han fries him. To me, it really doesn't matter, they still go by so fast you barely see them, but I will admit it kinda draws out of Han's character development in the movie.

I dislike it for reasons far simpler than character development.
I don't care how bad of a shot you are, you DON'T miss from 3 feet away.

Well, as a "kid" right now, I have only seen the original OT when I was about 5 to 8 and in school when I saw ESB on the older, but not original, VHS format.
When the OT was released on DVD, I was so excited to go get it, to only find out that it was the edited versions only.
I mean, any egotistical money savy guy would give what the people want in a release of a very wanted movie triology's original format. If he really is an egotistical money savy guy, he will release the NT on DVD a few months after RotS comes out on DVD, then he would release a special format of the NT about a half year after the NT DVD is released with all the edits he wanted and at this time would also release the OT in the original format on DVD, and then, about 5 months after the NT Edited DVD is released, he would release the NT/OT DVD set with the edited versions, and then, about six months after the NT/OT Edited DVD, he would finally release the NT/OT Original DVD set.
So, to put that on a time table: May 19, 2005: RotS is released in theaters. October 2005: RotS is released on DVD. December 2005: NT is released on DVD. June 2006: Special Edition NT is released on DVD. June 2006: Original Edition OT is released on DVD. November 2006: Special Edition NT/OT is released on DVD. May 2007: Original Edition NT/OT is released on DVD.
Keep in mind this is just my estimates and my estimates only. This is probally not the real time table, but, it looks pretty close to what somebody that wanted to make millions would do.
Also, don't forget he's probally going to release all the movies in theaters.
And that's what somebody who's an egotistical money savy person with rights to a hot item in Hollywood would do if he wanted to get lots of money.

I hope Episode III will be decent, and no Ewok Jedi will show in it.
Hell, It'll be decent when Jar Jar Binks doesn't show up at all, or dies when his shuttle is blown up and survives but stupidly presses the door release of his escape pod while floating in space so we can see him die in pure agony.

Are you kidding me? And Ewok Jedi would be the best thing ever. A teddy bear with a lightsaber! No! Dual sabers! I would so play a game as that.

I'm sure there is a Jedi Knight Academy or KOTOR Mod somewhere that allows such a thing.

I'm looking forward to EP3 Pros: - Closure: We all know what happens next, but it's cool to see it actually happen
- Darkness & Violence: Anakin slaughters the Jedi and if you watch the trailers closely, he slices up Nute Gunray and co - dicing fun with slicy, slicy Carol Sm - sorry, Lightsabers
- The good guys lose, and boy do they really lose (surely?)
- Tantive IV: Huzaah, a CR90, a proper ship at last!
- Pretty Violent Battles: This is where the CGI does work - Clone\Stormtroopers being blown or sliced to bits, or blasting Jedi to bits
- KOTOR: I've been put in the mood for Star Wars again - playing those two games has really opened an extra interest for me, sort of exapanding the whole thing two fold.
Does that make sense? Cons:- Dialouge: Harrison Ford may have said in 1976 "You can type this shit but you can't say it" - but I generally believe the dialouge of the first films are a league apart from those of the sequals...I have a horrible feeling this will not change with the last one. Seriously, I've watched EP1 quite a few times and I think if you just refine the dialogue, not even rewrite the storyline, just refine the dialogue - you'll have a much more believable and effective story.
- Acting: Need I say more. I don't think GL is neccassarily a bad director, I mean, he made his empire on films he directed - but you've got some great names in there - Liam Neeson, Ewan McGreggor, Samuel L Jackson, Christopher Lee, to name a few, and Natalie Portman and Hayden Christenssen (spelling?) have each turned in decent performances...elsewhere... I have no idea what it is, though filming them all effectively seperately from each other may have a detracting effect me personally thinks.
- Tries to be too clever: I like little nods to what will happen in the future, but some times these nods are made just too bloody obvious that they detract from the story - I'm not going to even get into what is "held" the cannon history of the Fall of the Republic before the Prequels came along. Where's the Z-95? Where's the Victory Class Star Destroyer? The Republic T.I.E doesn't look like that OMGWTF!?! Etc...
- I don't know where my local cinema is...

I got this season's Lego catalog this week. I saw that the Clones' helmets look exactly like the Stormtroopers' helmets now, even though they are the Stormtroopers', and the Republic T.I.E was one of the things. I was like "SPOILER!". I know that all the Republic things are supposed to look like the Empire's, but seriously, spoiling the whole feel of the movie is kinda bad.

George only wrote for the A New Hope, two seperate chaps wrote Empire and Jedi.
The writing isn't that bad, sometimes it is the actor like that kid who played Young Anakin in Episode I. Anakin was suppose to be a hopeless Slave, but that kid acted Anakin as a pretty happy well ballanced type that doesn't grow up to become one of the most feared Sith since Exar Kun.
I agree with Zed though, where are the Headhunters and Corporate Sector?

Indeed, a CGI Anakin would have been a lot better.
Or a mute kid.

How about starting it off when he was born or a little baby and the Jedi finding out then? It would cut out the talking of Anakin and we could still have the same story, though the events in Episode 1 would take place earlier and Padme wouldn't really be in the first Episode.
