I saw the trailer today.  I'm gonna stay optimistic, by saying that it still makes me want to see the movie.  Maybe even more so.

Not even that, clones are completely obediant, Lama Su said so.

See, the Emporer would have thought of that, he's a clever fella, it would save him a mint too.

Are any of the Empire's high-level officers clones?  No.  Presumably this is because no matter how hard you try, clones are going to think at least a little bit alike; having all your officers come up with the same plans is a bit disadvantageous.

You can tell pretty much anyone not in a visored helmet isn't a clone.  As far as I can tell, this includes everyone from Lieutenant on up, possibly lower-ranking regular Army goons, and everyone in the Navy (minus the TIE pilots.)  And remember, the Empire's military is smegging massive, so they need a lot of personnel.

What do you suppose happens to all the Clones?

They remain in the Empire's service until they die/retire.

The Empire still uses clones in OT, but they'd branched out into using conscripts and recruits as well. Also, they found other sources besides Jango (obviously).

I imagined all of the clones died by the time the Empire rolled around. They just kidnapped children from planets the Empire invaded and brainwashed them into believing in the Empire. It's mentioned quite often in the EU that most stormtroopers aren't clones.

A few might be Darktrooper Officers.

Maybe for the best, I giggle at the thought of a Kiwi accented Stormtrooper.

Dark Forces is a First-person shooter for PC, not a book (thought there was a spin-off book series. First to feature Kyle Katarn. Jedi Knight/Outcast/Academy are all continuations of the series.

Anyways, it was also where Dark Troopers first appeared. In fact, Kyle's mission in the game was to destroy them. Seeing how the buggers are popping up everywhere, he obviously wasn't as successful as we all thought.

In the game, you get the see the Dark Troopers at different stages of production. The initial model is a skinny little robot not unlike the skeletal Terminator. Phase two is when they stick all that chunky-ass armour on.

There was also a phase three, with homing missiles and stuff, but only one was ever built, and you take it out (as well as one General Rom Mohc, who was behind the project) at the end of the game.

And that concludes my history of the Dark Trooper.

Ah, so that's why Darktrooper armour isn't availiable in SWG.

This is gonna sound stupid but:

I just started playing StarWars Battlefront in online mode for the PS2, but I dont know how to talk using the SOCOM headset. I hear others talking, but I dont know how to respond!

So what button do you push to talk into the mic?

"Help me, you're my only hope."

Does anyone have the MP3 that plays when Lando and the Rebel Fleet discover the Deathstar is operational and then are suddenly swamped in TIE Interceptors? And the music of Luke's final dual with Vader?

Can you send them to me please?

Send it to me too, I've been searching for that music for ages.
Anyway, I've been replaying Jedi Outcast again, aren't the Darktroopers in that as well, except they're force-endowed storm troopers?
EDIT: Never mind, I just remembered I'm thinking of Shadowtroopers.

Right on, Nurdbot. John Williams rocks (u knows what I means...)  ;)

Finally watched the Trilogy dvd set Special Features disc, and was happy to see 'The Simpsons' Mark Hamill guest spot, and then Fry's lightsaber practice session from Futurama -- during the end credits of the Lightsaber featurette.

My favourite new Trilogy music is:

The Podracing theme.
Dual Of The Fates.
The cremation of Qui-Gon.
The little piece of music that plays when we see the Clone and Droid armies.

Back on Tat, go back to dying party then home. I've got some awesome screenies of the Corvette.

Oh, the loot wasn't bad for the 3rd bit of the Rebel Themepark. A B-Wing Flightsuit and Schematic for Commando Backpack. I hope the last bit of the themepark has the best loot.

And now, the amazing screenies of the Corvette. This is LucasArts heaven!

The Warriors of Hope hold the fort as there attack plan crumbles around us.

What we looked like before we crumbled.

What happened you ask?
Well, we were all fully buffed and armoured up to the gills. But somebody impatiently ran off leading the others while 3-4 of us with slower connections were still loading up. We managed to regroup but the elevators confused some and we eventually were seperated and were blasted by the CorSec or stomped on by those annoying BattleDroids from Episode II.

The only loot gained was a Bantha Toy and the reactor core of the AV-21, the best Landspeeder in the game.

I got nothing but some damaged armour. It was still very exciting.
