The reason the fight scene was deleted was because Lucas didn't want to show ANY dark side to Anakin just yet.

M, shut up. Greedo is not in Episode 1. For one thing, he's not even a glint in his fathers eye. He was born during the events of Episode III when the Empire was around.

I'm just stating a fact guys. You can't just cover your ears and go "La la la la i'm not listening" It's questionable if a deleted scene counts as an offical edition to the movie saga. But it's a FACT the GREEDO appears in a deleted scene from epsiode 1 that can be viewed by anybody who owns the DVD. And since the films apparently make things in the books obsolete then surely what you think you know about Greedo goes out the window too? I mean, just after the original Star Wars came out there was a novel in which Luke and Leia get together! Once the other films came out it was never heard of again.

Hmmm. Vader.
Then General Veers, the only Imp under Vader's command that wasn't killed.
I kinda like R2 as well. Heck, there's loads of characters to choose from.
'Cept Jar Jar, everyone hates him.

I have never met a guy who has hated Boba Fett.
Ever read Shadows of the Empire? he is so badass in it.

I like Episode II better than Episode I, I would have liked Episode one if it was not for that bloody Gungan and the screwing up C-3P0's Extended Universe with a lazy ass plot device.

Wedge Antilles, Leader of Rogue Squadron after ROTJ.
One of the only men who lived through both Death Star attacks and see the Battle of Hoth.

Ah, damn. It is Gold Leader. I knew there was something odd about the nose. And the big gold circles on his helmet.
Though I liked Porkins and Darklighter better. If those two survived, there zany KFC eating gay porn star moustache wearing antics would have made them get places higher up in the Rebellion.

Wedge Antilles, Leader of Rogue Squadron after ROTJ. No... I think that's Tiree... one of the guys in the death star trench. Gold Leader, I believe. He freaked out, then exploded. Huzzah! Ah, damn. It is Gold Leader. I knew there was something odd about the nose. And the big gold circles on his helmet. You're both wrong. His name was Theron Nett, and his callsign was Red 10. He was Red Leaders wingman and was exploded by Darth Vader. Gold Leader's name was Hutch. The newbie pilot was called Tiree. Score one for obscure Star Wars knowledge. Which one? there were three. He means the New Hope Red Leader.

Even I, lost some respect for the series when the last 2 movies came out. Don't get me wrong, Star Wars is still up there, when it comes to my favorite movies, but the last 2 movies hurt it for me. Enough rambling for me, good screens though.
