You've got Endor (actually, probably the "Sanctuary Moon" ) mixed up with Kashyyyk... Though the Sanctuary Moon appears later.

IG-88 looks squashed.

Most of the machinery was his body. He loses most of his non mechanical body parts in a duel with Obi-Wan in episode 3 (besides his arm, which he loses in episode 2), and they're replaced with machinery, much like Luke's hand in "The Empire Strikes Back".

The little thing in front of Vader's mouth that looks like a harmonica, when Luke removes his helmet at the end of ROTJ, allows him to breath (it's what makes the famous Vader breathing noise). The suit itself is basically just one big life support system, and functions in place of several of Vader's non working organs.

I've been planning to get Galaxies for a while now, but MMORPG's are really too expensive to be good. Also, when it first came out it was supposed to be imbalanced, and apparently hasn't improved much. Plus I don't even think it's out here yet.
When/If I do get it though, I'd become Imperial for sure. They have cool uniforms.

I'm waiting for the expansion that let's you fly ships and the like. That's still being released right?

Yes, they're making it now. If you do get the Galaxies, join the Empire. A Star Wars Universe is just not right with 60% Rebels and 40% Imperials.

Do you have to pay monthly subscription for that game or what?

Yes, roughly $10 for the US I heard. Most MMORPGs keep around that amnount.

I might give Galaxies a try myself, something to do over the long summer holdiays after my exams. I always liked the idea of a droid engineer but have heard that droids are pretty poop at combat in Galaxies.

I might wait for the Expansion pack where you get Space Ships and combat!

And the thought of having a casual conversation with an admin who choose Vadar for his appearence.

Some space expansion screenies here.

Looks quite nice indeed. Beta testing for it is going on as we speak and the ETA is this Autumn.

From what I have seen there are no signs of that yet. I would like it though. The thing I want to see implemented are capital ships. Everyone wants their own Star Destroyer (although they would need to be bloody hard to get, a lot of faction points and possibly money needed to accquire them).

I'd expect they'd drive themselves. You just point at where they go and what to attack. I'd rather have a 'No chance in hell surviving this' TIE Fighter.

What I'd really love in a game is to be able to 100% customize everything about a space-ship. It's shape, it's size, where the engines are, where the weapons are etc.

Ever played the Elite games? Or Privateer? That sounds like your bag. I really think that there should be a Star Wars equivilent of those games.

Yes, Star Wars space sims are always quite fun but you never get to customise much. I quite like Freelancer and the Freespace games, and played a rather good demo of X2 as well.

BUMP!
Anyone have any feelings or expectations of Star Wars: Battlegrounds? From the screenshots it looks like it will authentically create the Star Wars universe with everything. It also has a level based on a Seperatist Attack on Kamino, one very cool planet.

Battlegrounds looks like BF1942 ala Star Wars, which can't be a bad thing. Unless Lucasarts mange to screw up again, in which case it will.
Woo! I make sense!

Star Wars Episode III has received a name. According to the British magazine "Empire" it will call "Birth of the Empire". Lucasfilms has given no comment so far. Well. This name sounds better than "Attac of the Clones" and i hope it will be a better movie.

According to AICN and The Digital Bits (with contacts at LucasFilm) this is an official image and there are more to come in the following weeks. It could be fake, but well, I don't even know anymore what George Lucas is capable of doing to upset fans.

He could release the Even More Special Edition of the original trilogy.  At the end, Wicket the Ewok wakes up, and it turns out that the whole thing was all just his dream.

Of course that is after the scene where Lando teaches Chewey how to looooove...

So what other things is Lucas supposed to be adding, some people say It is a tone of stuff while others say its just things like touching up lightsaber shots.
I hope they will make walrus mans arm castrised when it gets cut off, like everyother lightsaber shot...

Lucas has done some crappy crappy things, but I'm not sure if I buy this. First of all, why is the picture still online? It seems like every other leaked picture has been taken down immediately thanks to those lousy Lucasfilm lawyers.

Also it seems like they would hype up the new changes to the trilogy, in the DVD press releases. Lucasfilm is out of touch enough to think fans would want to see "new footage" added to these beloved classic films. So why are they being so silent about everything?

My belief/disbelief in crappy Star Wars rumors has been pretty accurate thus far, so I feel fairly confident that this is fake. But then again, I never would have believed some of the crappy Special Edition changes had I heard about them before seeing them myself.
