"House" didn't do anything, but Fox took Arrested Development out of its Monday slot (yet again) and replaced it with a "House" repeat. I mean, how the hell do Fox expect the show to even get an audience in the first place if they never advertise it, constantly take it off, move its slot around and only show about 2 episodes a month on average?
You know, AD could've easily been a hit if Fox marketed it right. All they'd have to do is use a genuinely funny clip from the show (eg. Tobias' Fire Sale audition) and use that in a commercial for it that runs frequently. Instead, there's rarely a promo around for AD, and when there is, they always use the worst jokes, add dumb cartoony sound effects to make the jokes bad, or have people begging for ratings. And why continue to over-advertise things like The OC when they're already getting good ratings? What the hell is wrong with Fox's marketing?!

well the actor who plays dr. house just won a golden globe last night, but it's not like those matter...
i see some other shows that aren't doing so well on the network currently (like mitm) being put on hiatus for a couple weeks until february like arrested development. are there sweeps coming up? i know it's mainly in may and sometime in the fall, but why would they be doing it now? or is this in conjunction with the new winter or "year" lineup with the 2 hour premiere of 24

Yeah, it should be back on after the tennis hopefully, maybe in 2 weeks or so.
Just go and buy the Season 1 DVD already and a fake snow of hope will be your rainbow sequel to domination!

Well, if we were to tell you, it'd be breaking the rules. T he PEEL rules openly warn against providing links to the download sites, plus - you can easily find them yourself. Can't you now, Mr. bigshot?

WIG SHOP OWNER: Are you going to buy something this time, or are you just curious? TOBIAS: Well, I suppose I'm buy-curious... For British Eyes Only is so under-rated. There was a lot of backlash against that when it first aired - like Amigos or The One Where They Build a House, it's definitely one of those episodes that gets better with multiple viewings. Though Mr. F is easily the greatest episode of Season 3 so far.

I think Oscar was waiting for his hair to grow back before showing up again (not to mention with all the stuff happening in 302-306, it would've been quite chaotic if he showed up earlier). And yeah, Mr. F was the episode that... well, centered around the term "MR. F." Seriously, you've gotta love that episode. The way the storylines all come together is just pure genius, not to mention it has the Godzilla vs Mothra thing and the jetpack instructional video. So damn funny! I'm actually kinda glad George Sr. fired Super Dave early, though. He was really a one-joke character, and after his large role in Mr. F, it seemed like they'd done every possible angle they could with the surrogate thing. But don't worry Newhook - he DOES make a small appearance again in 309. As for Curb Your Enthusiasm, I watch it occassionally... the episodes are either really funny or just plain boring, there doesn't appear to be any middle ground with the show. Still, it has its moments, though it's certainly not in the same league as Arrested Development.

Where have you been, Roy? Read the previous page, we were discussing it for quite a while... Fox will be showing the last 4 episodes in a marathon on February 10.

Yeah. They don't give a shit about the show at this point... they didn't advertise it, and moved it to a bad timeslot to kill it, just like Futurama. They KNOW it's going to get bad ratings - hell, it's up against the Winter Olympics opening ceremony.
Though apparentally the president of Showtime has said that they've offered a two-year deal to the show. They're rumoured to be VERY interested, and say that AD is the kind of thing they're looking for, and will fit in with what they're doing. ABC has backed off a bit now, the president of that said that he was a fan and thought he could market it, but couldn't see the network picking up the show for another season (Whaaa?). So, I guess it's Showtime then.

Well, I'm now all caught up. Now I'm sad because there aren't any new AD episodes to watch till Febuary. *Crosses fingers for 2 season Showtime deal* Anyway, I really liked 309. I thought all the self referencing and what not was great. Of course, this episode wouldn't be quite as funny had I known that the show is in danger of being cancelled. Anywho, good as it was I hope they have it out of their systems now and the whole "We're being cancelled" joke won't be the centre of the last 4 episodes.
