Ok, write a short story/paragraph crammed with as many movie/TV references you can fit, where a paragraph is no more than 8 lines, whoever guesses the most references goes next.
No direct quotes and references must be remotely guessable and not impossibly obscure.

Example and first go:
"I don't think you're in NeveNeverland anymore!" she exclaimed with great relish.
"But you have no faith! That's disturbing!" - he replied.
"...Marvellous."

Edit: Purposely made easy...

People are avoiding this thread like the plague because it reminds them of that shitty Samantha Janus "comedy".

Is the word "relish" a reference to the secret code word "quellish" in Leonard Part 6?  Didja misspell "exclaimed" as a reference to Dostoyevsky's "The Idiot"?

NeveNeverland?  Is that some place Neve Campbell may never go?

I'm not entirely sure if DrThunder88 was being sarcastic.
The Wizard of Oz: "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore!"
Peter Pan: Never Never Land was the place he lived.
Star Wars 5: The Empire Strike Back: "I find your lack of faith disturbing." One of the Star Wars anyway, I haven't seen them in a while.

That's what I'm guessing those quotes are from. I have no idea about "...Marvelous", though.

"Marvellous" was a Dirty Harry catchphrase,
"he exclaimed with great relish" was in Ace Ventura II
M0le got the most right so it's his go.

"I am pleased you're not dead!" Han said to the wizard.  "And all we had to do was click our heels together and clap for two days!  What did death smell like?"  "Like cantelope."  You've never smelled cantelope."  "You've never smelled Death.  You know, Death really doesn't appreciate being given wedgies."

I count 8 references.

The Clicking Heels part is 'The Wizard of Oz' again. I haven't got a clue about the others.

Hmmm...maybe some Indiana Jones mixed with Star Wars and, I don't know, Princess Bride.

Look at me!  I'm out on a limb!

I would have said the wedgie-ing Death bit was from Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure or that cartoon with Death, those two kids and that bear with the evil brain.
But it's probably bull-plop.
Nix?

"I am pleased you are not dead" - Indiana Jones (first one)
Click heels - Wizard of Oz
Clap hands - Peter Pan (some live action one where clapping brought tinkerbell back to live or some other such nonsense... I barely remember it)

That's all I have...

Edit: I guess 'Han' could be referring to Han Solo, if that is counted as a reference.

*swipe*
Two surviving cannibals came down from the mountains, a man and a woman.
They went to the rainforest where the man taught the native men to play basketball and the woman showed tupperware. Then together they tried to find a cure for cancer before the rainforest was destroyed, so they hid behind a waterfall to escape the bad natives and the man was the last of his gang.
Then the woman lost one of her toes but didn't really care!!

Coilette - 3, you're up!

"Two surviving cannibals came down from the mountains, a man and a woman." - was from Alive!, that plane crash movie where they all eat each other.

Incidently, the man teaching the natives to play basketball I would imagine would be "The Air Up There," starring Kevin Bacon.

"You do know how to whistle don't you?" she asked the newspaper photographer, Peter.
"Well..." At that moment a bunch of cowboys came crashing through the door engaged in a bout of fisticuffs. Peter managed to escape by cross dressing and headed for Miami. When there he staged a daring gold heist.

Crap.  I give up on that one.

Is the opening line a reference to the line "Just put your lips together and blow?" and I cannot remember which movie that's from.  It's an oldie.  I know that.
