Well, they're wearing school uniforms, but presumedly these girls are 18 or older (The pictures would be illegal otherwise.) and are probably out of school.  Therefore, they're cosplaying as schoolgirls.  Schoolgirls in uniform are a staple of anime.

Yes, there's far more to anime than that.

Let's see more pics of actual characters from anime and manga, and less cheesecake shots of random girls drawn in anime style.  That's the sort of thing that gives anime a bad name.

There are really only a couple of people posting the random cheesecake shots.  They just happen to be posting an awful lot of them.
