My brother has requested that I ask anyone here (well you Americans mainly) if they could tape Star Trek Enterprise that shows on UPN. He is willing to pay (I think - actually I have no idea, but I'll get back to you) for these episodes to be posted to him here in Australia.
Just a tapefull at a time - about 2 episodes or whatever fits on a regular VHS tape at a time is fine. If anybody is willing to take this responsibility.... you know the drill.

ntsc? Hm, my brother works at SBS (tv station) in the new-media department, so I'm sure any sort of tape you have he could find a player for it... But I'll ask up about it.

Kryten: Would it help if I complimented you on your Avy?   :flirt:

Australia uses the PAL system, Some VCR's will play US tapes so I'm sure a TV station would have no problem.
I look forward to the show being on here in the UK, no doubt in a year or twos time.

Why can't I take the Quantum Leap guy seriously as a space captain?

Ah, Avery Brooks, the man who blows Shatner out of the water and gives Patrick Stewart a run for his money.  What's he doing now?  Last I saw he was doing IBM commercials.

I think he played Paul Robeson in a TV-movie. He was also in "American History X", wasn't he?

Went to IMDB.com . . .

He's been the narrator in a bunch of stuff recently . . . he was in American History X, The Big Hit, and 15 Minutes.

LOL, whats amusing is that, if you had tried this, the tapes would have been buggerd by the X-Ray machines that most all international post would go through.  :p

Enterprise is a great show, it's going with the true traditions of Star Trek, unlike DS9 that didn't and thankfully B5 came along and showed what a Space Station series should be like.

]PaulFSAC[, I am not a big Star Trek fan but I have to say I like DS9, even though at some points it is like Babylon 5 light, later on they actually tried to have some creative plots and great characters arcs. Compared to Voyager which just seemed not to be trying.

I saw two episodes of Enterprise... thought it just was Voyager with baseball caps.

That's actually a good comparison. But Enterprise has a man as captain...   :p

Why dont you just download the eps as DivX. Im already 1 season ahead of terrestrial UK.

Enterprise is fantastic and well worth the watch just for Jolene.

How do you figure that?  The episode of Enterprise that aired in the UK this week only aired in the US on February 26th.  According to my inofrmation we're only four episodes behind now.

I have to say this show's growing on me.  I didn't like it much during the first season, but the second season's had some good episodes.  And Linda Park is cute!

Well, i dont have sky or digital tv. s1 just finished running int he UK, so by the time s2 hits terrestrial i'll have every ep of s2 - only 4 weeks to go until season finalle.

Increased talk of the show being axed though... not good.

EDIT: Linda Park? Meh... Not nearly as cute or sexy as Jolene Blalock...

It's not being axed.  There will be a third season.  That's been confirmed.

third season perhaps, but after than who knows? Farscape was brutally axed. Enterprise certainly isnt getting the audience or respect that was intended.

All hail Jolene! She is a damn FINNNNE woman. She does Tai Kickboxing you know... and surfs... so not a scrap of cellulite on her.

You might have a little too much wasted space in a 'phone booth.

You're right.  Linda and me are both so small you could just lock us in a wardrobe, where we'd make our own entertainment.  :D
