Nerds of Sci-fi unite.  Post your favorite sexy female of sci-fi.  These are the women we secretly have crushes on. They kick ass, dress sexy and have cardboard cut-outs in our homes    laff

Did I sound like Matt Groening for a moment?

I'm gonna go for Ensign Ro (i think) the bajoran from ST:TNG, shame they killed her off though.

Also the blonde Yeoman from TOS was pretty hot for the time.

Pssh, Vasquez was waaay tougher than Ripley, she had that huge gun, and died in the hardest way possible.

Anyways, I'll vote for, um, Amidala.

I'm not sure. I'm stuck between Uhura and Leela, because they're both poster ladies for Sci-fi.

I thought that female Q on the voyager ep- The Q and the grey was pretty sexy, and had the spunky attitude, and when it comes to brains she knows everything

Also, Ensign Ro was pretty good too

Technically she wasn't killed off, she deserted Star Fleet to join the Maquis. Since "Pre-Emptive Strike" was the pen-ultimate episode of TNG, I thought it was a pretty neat send-off for Ro. It stayed true to her rebellious character. Offcourse she probably bought it when the Maquis was whiped out in DS9.

Speaking of DS9, I'm torn between Jadzia and Ezri. However in the end Jadzia wins.

I believe I voted for Amidala, because she's played by Natalie Portman. Also- her outfit when they went to Geonosia was totally... yeah.

Leela would be an obvious choice on a Futurama message board anyway. Aside from her, I'm gonna go with Ripley, she kicks some serious alien ass!

What? No Barbarella? No Dark Angel? No Aeryn Sun? No Chiana? No Sikozu? No Fay Wray? No Evelyn (the new 'Mummy')? No Pris? No Princess Vespa? No Leloo? No Emma Peel (I mean Dianna Rigg, from the 60's TV series)?
No Judy Jetson? No-okay, I've gotten a little out of hand...shutting up.

Suzie Plakson. Yeah, she's a serious babe, and she also played K'Eyleer (sp?) in TNG.

As far as Star Trek babes go, I can't really make up my mind between Jadzia, Kira Nerys and 7of9.  love

If you look very carefully (i.e. cellotape your eyeball to the screen) you can make out just a few  big grin

I think I'll vote for Leia actually. Mostly because I think she needs at least one vote.

Does anyone else think a poll wasn't the best idea for this topic?

Let's see...  Leela, Seven of Nine, Ezri Dax, Hoshi Sato, Lyta Alexander...

...and for crying out loud, Nova from the 1968 Planet of the Apes???

I take a certain pride in being the only one to vote for Nova so far.  She was dead sexy, running around all naked limbed and sweaty -and she couldn't speak a word! (insert sexist comment here)

I don't understand...are we voting for the hottest scifi woman, or the best woman scifi character?

If it's hottest, then why does Ripley have so many votes? And if it's best character, why does Padme have any votes at all?

I'll go with Leia, because she's feisty and full of insults like "would someone get this walking carpet out of my way?". Haha--oh man. She zinged you, Chewbacca!

But if any of the Farscape girls were up there, I would vote for them.

I had my doubts as well, so I just tossed my mental coin.
But if we're voting for the one that kicks the most ass, then Ripley wasn't really that good. She was pure crap until she got to her loader. I mean- why did she think the gooey empty worm-ish part of the queen was the critical spot? She wasted so many grenades on that. And flaming the eggs seemed like a freakish panic decision.

The ones with the most coolness are obviously Sarah Connor and Leia Organa, both of whom I would have voted for if I could.

Hmm, for me, a two way tie between the radiant Officer Aeryn Sun, and Chiana

maybe i should vote for ChAeryn from Bizzaro Moya, both characters in one package  flirt

(ChAeryn was seen in the episode "Unrealized Reality" and in "Katratzi" )
