Now this is not a thread of me pleading for people to give me DVD's but for stating what DVD's you would like to see realesed that as of yet have not been.

For example I would love to see the release Quantum Leap on DVD (Since I can not find it anywhere).

As was said elsewhere it would be cool to see Daria released.

Basically this is a thread for saying what DVD's company's have seemed to over looked.

(If there is already a thread like this I appologise but i could find one)

There's quite a lot of DVD's not yet released which I'd like. Mostly music related though...

Matrix Revolutions (in April)
The Animatrix (in a case that isn't a crappy snapper case)
Aladdin
Seasons 6, 7 and 8 of The Simpsons
Prodigy Video Collection
Prodigy Live
Alice in Chains Live (not just unplugged)
Lenny Kravitz video collection
Jamiroquai video collection
Deftones video collection

...that's all I can think of for now      :)

Well, I had a bunch of DVDs that I was going to give to you, but in that case, nevermind.

Obviously, the original Star Wars trilogy (but that's being released in the autumn anyway, so meh).

Also, Simpsons Seasons 4-9.  ;)

Matrix R

Looney Tunes: Back in Action
Big Fish
Timeline
Last Samurai

Can't think of any older titles haven't been released on DVD in some region or other... wait, how about a decent version of Blade Runner and the *original* Star Wars trilogy.

Kids in the Hall (Coming in April)
Twin Peaks: S2 (Still not out on Region 1)
Boy Meets World (June or July)
Muppet Babies (Well, you can get one episode on DVD if you buy the just-released stuffed Kermits and Baby Piggies)
Invader Zim (April or May)
Leave It to Beaver
Clone High

I'd also like to see Falling Angels released in the US.  It was a big hit at the Toronto International Film Festival, but no one's picked it up for distribution.

Are you speaking of R2 releases of these movies?  The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Weird Science are all available on DVD in R1.  In fact there's a DVD with all three on it here at amazon.  Granted, these are just bare bones releases, quickly done with few bonus features.  It's unfortunate as I like these films.  I wish they would have spent more time with them. Maybe a better version will be released in the future.

Is Weird Science that unrealistic Frankenstein type show?
Where they create a super babe and don't use it for sexual pleasure every week?

Weird Science the TV show was based on an 80's film of the same name.  The movie's atrocious, but bad in a funny way if you don't think too much about it.  And Danny Elfman can sure write a mean title song.

All of Arnies 80's classics each a 2 disk set with bloopers and deleted scenes, commentries etc..   especially :

Commando
The Running Man
Total Recall
Raw Deal

and not a 80's film but one of his most underated imo, Last Action Hero.
Mind you, we'll probably get a "career" long set of all his films on DVD when his heart finally gives.
Fingers crossed eh?

Robinson Crusoe On Mars
Lensman, original anime movie

I've read about this. I also found it (apparently!) on R2 - but in all honesty I don't think it's R2, even though it says it is.

I'd just like to see these films is all!

Cannot wait for the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD in September  :D

Oh!  The day after this thread opened, I got to thinking, "Wouldn't it be great if "Voyager" was out on DVD?"  The next day I saw an advertisement for the first season.

Indeed it does. The Washu enclyopdia is very cool but you might wait until they release the final 6 episodes of the series.

This site has pictures of what it says might be three different types of packaging that will be used for the Star Wars DVD set.  But remember, in any case they'll be the Special Editions only, so you shouldn't buy them.

I MUST get it for my birthday. (which is soon. Hurray!   :D )

Until the original versions come out, I ain't buying them.  None of that Greedo shooting first crap will come out of my DVD player.  Would it be so hard to to include both versions to please all of the fans?

I'm looking forward to the May release of the first Invader Zim DVD.

More Star Wars news:

It turns out that the pictures in the link above are real, but they are works in progress, so the final version(s) most likely won't look like that.

The movies will contain new and improved effects, more than in the special editions from a few years ago.  Maybe they'll improve some of the "improvements" from the last time around.

Most interestingly, deleted scenes from the movies will be included as bonuses, apparently more than just the Star Wars deleted scenes previously released on the Behind the Magic CD-ROM.

But of course, all of this is meaningless since they're not going to release the original versions of the movies.

I'm not sure if the previous year's New England Metal/Hardcore fest is on DVD yet, but that would be sweet.

South Park season 4, Invader Zim something, Seinfeld DVD(I heard they're working on it), and any DVDs for bands I like that don't have them out yet would be nice.
