"The Olmos" wouldn't make sense. The image above is from this comic.

It's a play on "Twilight's" Edward.

This renembers me that that arse of face (Dick Benedict .. yes i know is Dirck but the play is obvious) in his "dissection" of the "new" series , among the pile of bullshit he defecated he said that the new Adama was a mentally troubled pussy, weak minded and more focused on personal emotions with his son than in the war...

Yeap... because the old Adama who was more worried in avoiding that quorum lady and countless silly plots was more serious than the man who jumped a 1500m long battlestar on the atmosphere andyouknowtherest

BSG finale: Adequate.  Entertaining.  Fun.  Even if a little campy.

Yes I said Campy, and I can back it up.  For a show that wanted to focus on the ambiguity of human right and wrong I just felt a little cheated when the final Cylon hub was revealed to be Skeletor's Black-hole orbiting space castle.  NyPy can vouch for me on that.

Also (This one goes out to Nix) did the last montage remind you of the ending to Chrono Cross?

You take that back!

The last scene with Adama at Roslin's grave was the saddest moment in the last show (he's lost or said goodbye to his ship, his son, adopted daughter, best friend, and now the woman he loves, and it's implied he lives the rest of his life as a hermit talking to Roslin's grave).

That blows any 'campness' out of the airlock faster than a Cylon caught by Tigh.

Not only will I not take it back I will say that Cavil pulling a Bud Dwyer at the end of the battle was one of the greatest narms I ever saw.

Fun fact: the bottles in  BSG are actually from an existing Catalonian sparkling wine.

I wonder if I could fake the label and "recreate" them for some retarted fanboys so I can make €€€

Battlestar Rhapsody! :laff:

Wow, I can't believe I just noticed this post. Brilliant on so many levels.

Also, Caprica has just premiered in the US. This week's episode was the same pilot that was released on DVD back in April, but seeing as I haven't watched it since I bought it, I tuned in on Friday. I had forgotten how well done it was, and I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the show.

Really good episode of Caprica last night, the show is really beginning to hit it's stride in my opinion. I love the mobster stories from Joseph Adama and his brother, and Eric Stoltz is so great as Daniel Graystone. That said, it was a tiny bit sacrilegious to have the Zoe Cylon dance to bad pop music (and the original BSG theme for a few quick seconds if anyone caught it) .

Also, anyone notice that Daniel Graystone's public relations person is played by Actress Luciana Carro (aka "Kat", the cocky Viper jock)?

Nasty Pasty your avatar reminds me so much of Gaius Baltar. I'm only part way through season two, I'm watching it on the insistence of my boyfriend. It's alright, i need to watch more soon it's been a while.

@Spacey: Actually, I've gotten the Baltar comment more often then you think. If only I had some arm candy like Six next to me in bed.... :(

@Javier: Although it's a very different show compared to BSG, Caprica stands on it's own merits much better than your usual "spinoff". The characters are all fantastic, the art direction is to die for, the storylines are all well-thought out, exciting, topical, and are just as mysterious as those in the main series. It might take a few episodes for you to feel at home, but it's worth it.

So yeah.....Caprica was cancelled. :(

On the upside, there is a third BSG series that's been greenlit for a pilot.

You guys, I just saw Green Hornet today, and EJO is in it. I was squeeing at "Adama."

He seriously gives me chills with his acting, even in a movie like Green Hornet. He's so committed. I've never seen him overact or give a false moment.

Well..  now that Caprica has been axed... they are going to release another prequell that will go between Caprica and Galactica and will focus on Adama during the Cylon war.. called "blood and chrome"

crew has been casted and even most of the pilot's script is leaked (unless its some fake or viral plublicity stunt.. but for now and what has been leaked from more than one source, looks it will be very close)

"Ensign William Adama, barely in his 20's and a recent Academy graduate, finds himself assigned to the newest battlestar in the Colonial fleet ... the Galactica. The talented but hot-headed risk-taker soon finds himself leading a dangerous top secret mission that, if successful, will turn the tide of the decade long war in favor of the desperate fleet."

Started B&C..

What the frak happent to Galactica?

One thing is 40 years passing and other is thing.. it doesnt look at all like in the series ... im speaking about the insides.. and the insides where suposed to be almost like in the old times..

They are making it like they said they wouldnt..... flashy ,  ultra modern and startrekish...

on the other side, the problem is short episodes.. but i enjoy how they put Adama in a Raptor (explanation about why he began in Raptors despite being a quealified Viper pilot)

I have said it too in the BattleStar forums..bu Cocker  being just 47 days out for retirement? and he aches to get out of the war...

man... he only needs to get a picture of his girlfriend and the picture is complete...
