Nixorbo spoiled the fake Ancients surprise on me.

What a pain in the mik'ta.  :(

Where the hell is Dr. Lam, aka Andromeda, she was hotter.

I thought the origin of the replicators was from that Reese character in SG-1 who built them as toys and then they went bonzo... not the Ancients/Lantians!

I'll bet we find out later that the guy who created that Reese robot/girl as his daughter got his ideas somehow from the Lantians.  McKay hinted at that during the show.

Suckerrr!!
Finally!! Faze wins one round of "Who saw Stargates first!" (out of Faze and Nasty, I bet that no good Nixorbo cheated again...)

Atlantis was nowhere near as good, they did a "Teal'cs a fireman!!" episode, although Torri Higginson acted her ass off in it, she was great.

"Hey everybody! The movie's back on!"   :D

Also, when did Peter Deluise get so buff? Everytime I've seen him on specials and stuff, he's a chip off the old block, (his dad with the hat, him to the right and his brothers, Carters boyfriend far left and Wormhole X-Treme star, Colonel Danning far right!    ):

I'm guessing that in the end, the replicators turn out to be the good guys, and we're the bad bad organic bastards who have been wrecking their universe.

Or at least, that would be fun.

Sg1 200: ZOMG AEWZOME!!!  No, seriously, that was a lot a lot of fun.  Not enough Jack though.  Two words: more puppets! (name that quote, win a prize)  I want to see "Teal'c: Private investigator.

Atlantis: Too much Weir, not enough badass/Ronan.  Also, I would enjoyed it more had they not shown THE ENTIRE FREAKING EPISODE in the teaser commercial.

Sky's just started rerunning them in the correct order  :D We're up to the season with Jonas in it at the moment - so don't have a good comment on the new stuff yet (and don't want to read all of this thread and ruin it for myself).

Finally, I remember to record SG-1.  Just allow me to say:

  :D   :D   :D   :D   :D   :D   :D x a billion but there's an eight-image max.  And flood control that counts after my last aborted post.  Dammit, Nix.

"Okay, you got me.  I have no idea what that is."

"Hey everyone, the movie's back on!"

Thought of some more:

"I don't think Mitchell likes me anymore."
"I'm pregnant."

"Well, nobody's going to see that coming."
"Nah, there'll be spoilers."
"Are you kidding?  It'll be in the commercial."

"You weren't there."

Oh, and one more, just because it perfectly illustrates why I'm in love with Carter:

"'The singularity exploded'?"
"Everything about that sentence is wrong."

And by the way, I assume the rest of you notice that besides Jack, Don S. Davis also returned, albeit as a voiceover?  I'm glad I got this episode on tape.

I have it on dvd, so nyah.

And now that you mention it, it just occured to me that that was Hammond.  I guess I didn't think anything of it.  In fact, I saw his name in the credits and said to myself, "I didn't remember seeing him."

Dear God in heaven.  I feel so *stupid*.  Sweet co-::5 minutes of bleeping::  And we can get away with that because we're on cable.

Who giggled at the Firefly/Serenity reference?

Oh, right.  I remember now.  Though to be fair, there's about a dozen shows out there to which that could apply (our own Futurama included, sorta.)  But yes, Firefly is the obvious one.

Also, did I mention I got SG-1 Season 1 on DVD Friday?  Finally actually had time to re-watch the pilot.  Ah, Showtime.  Where would we be without your gratuitous full-frontal nudity?

There are a dozen movies based on failed TV shows?  I know that's true the other way around ...

Well...

Family Guy: show cancelled, movie made and then nixed in favor of renewed series.  Just like the end of this episode.

Futurama: show cancelled, movie(s) and renewed series in the works.

Farscape: show cancelled, fans whined until they made a movie-esque miniseries.

Star Trek: yo.

Alright, that's only four besides Firefly.  All of which lasted more than three (or fourteen) episodes, but I was counting all of those that were cancelled within three or four seasons and then brought back due to DVD sales and/or fan fanaticism.  Like I said, Firefly was the obvious one, and the one I thought of when I heard the joke.  I just forgot about the joke when you mentioned it.

Hmm, was that on the DVD or did they re-edit it?

I need to get back into stargate. It's a shame, i no longer have exams or school work that i can blow off to watch stargate. Maybe i bring the DVD's into work and blow off normal work work?

Well, it was on the DVDs, but it was in the episode when it originally aired on the Showtime network. When SciFi picked the series up a few years ago, they cut the nudity out when they aired the reruns.

I'm assuming Fox did as well, since I first saw Stargate when Fox was broadcasting the syndication Saturday afternoons.

I seriously want to know what that guy was saying during the two five-minutes-worth of bleepout.

Tis a real shame about SG-1. Hearing the bad ratings for this season were shades of Star Trek: Enterprise's last season. I had a feeling it was coming.

But at least we still have Atlantis renewed for a 4th Season.  :)

Is it really? To be honest, I feel that the show should have ended right after they defeated the Goa'uld. All good things must come to an end some day.

I just remembered why The Broca Divide is the best Season One episode: Carter's sweet little tank top number and the introduction of Dr. Frazier.

"She uh...she tried to seduce me."
"Oh.  You poor man."
