So... I just saw several clips from HP and the Goblet of Fire... and I can't say I'm too pleased. I've been waiting to see this movie, but... Is it just me, or does everyone seem to be shouting unneccesarily? Mad-Eye, Dumbledore, Snape... their voices must've been really sore after filming that thing. I don't know... what I saw from the clips isn't at all what I imagined from reading the book.

Honestly I have never seen any of the HP movies at all, or read the books.  Not really sure why, just never really appealed to me I guess.  Then again, I really hated the whole idea of the LOTR series before I watched them and now I own all the extended cuts.  I guess I just don't see whats so great about the movies, they dont seem all that well-acted or anything, who knowns, I'm sure I'll end up watching them someday.

Couple of movies i'm looking forward to:

X-men:3 - With the way 2 ended my geek sences are tingling.

HP:GoF - I've read all the book and seen all the movies, just want to compare really. From what i've seen it looks good

Nania:LWatW - CAN NOT wait for this. Movie Mag's here in UK are asking if it'll fill the hole left by LotR

Hil: Pi man!?
He's also might be doing Batman: Year One, which I'm not sure why it even exists, what franchise does it belong to? Is it a new strain of Batman movies?
(Not to mention the Batman vs. Superman one...)

Trailer is nifty, I've not seen it before, gimme the gist of the story!

This looks promising: DeNiro... Hitman... possible hilarity ensuing... what could go wrong?

And I really hope the bit about the aliens in this article is a false untrue lie.  :hmpf:

Shane blacks explosive return to action movies- Kiss kiss bang bang

Most mature hp film to date-
Harry potter and the goblet of fire

Coen brothers musical- romance and ciggarettes
Terrence malick drama- The new world
Quentin tarantino war flick - Inglorious ba*****
and last but definetly not least the "supposedly coming out" futurama movie. To name a few or well alot actually.
Lets hope the winter season films make up for the crappy  summer disapointements we have had.

The new HP movie was great! It's a shame they had to leave stuff out to make it shorter but it was still really good. I read the Narnia book in 5th grade and   I liked it then but I'm interested to see if I'll like the movie. It's not at the top of my list though.

I might watch it, once it has been made released...  :p

Last movie for this year is (of course) that Huge Ape movie and the first movie of 2006 is probably that one:

Not really looking forward to these, but all are set to be released this year...

Remakes: Porky's, The Warriors, The Fly, Revenge of the Nerds

Oh, and I heard there will be a Police Academy 8.

Personally, you cannot remake Revenge of the Nerds...or The Fly...or The Warriors...or Porky's. For me, espcecially Revenge of the Nerds. How can you get a cast to work like the original did?

Can people come up with any new movies than redoing to same movies over and over and over? That or they come out with a bunch of CGI movies and So and So part 5 Movies.

I heard some where that the box office draw is going down because of this crap.

Well, there's already a remake of The Fly. So it'll be a remake of a remake. Or a remake of the original and forgetting about the first remake, just like Kong.

Hollywood's imagination knows no boundaries.

Snakes On a Plane Obviously! Its gonna be the best movie of 2006! You know what could be better than A Terrorist realeasing snakes on a a Mid Atlantic Flight to kill a guy.

At first, after looking at it's Wiki article, I thought Snakes On A Plane was a comedy. But then I realized that it wasn't a comedy. Just Kenan Thompson and the picure given on Wiki just seem comedic. It sounds good.

The problem with a Nerds remake is that times have changed. If they were to base a remake in the present, it wouldn't make sense, as everything is digitized and not only nerds know computers. It just seems weird to have a movie about computer geeks based in the present, digital world.

I wasn't fond on 2 and 3, this one sounds good. They said in a poster about endinmg the trilogy with a forth movie. A bit too much ask me but it's like Futurama's soon to come movies. 4 is too much, 2 or 3 will do.
