I'm quite looking foward to Aardmans's other movie; Flushed Away. My only worry is it's all CGI apparently. This is the first ever poster of it, looks pretty clool to me...

Hey, thats looks pretty good OPJ.

I guess its like a James Bond kind of flick, although I don't think it will be CGI, I think Ardmans will most likely stick to Clay Ainimation for this one, CGI is just not their style.

For now, I`m only looking forward to two movies, really..
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
-Corpse Bride
They`re both made by my favorite director [Tim Burton], and they both have Johnny Depp as the main character.   :)

I just watched the new Batman Begins flick. I loved it. IT was so serious and real. The movie/flick really took me into it. I can't wait for the sequel. What's the next one going to be called, Batman Ends? :laff:

Chay, there was an original War of the Worlds... it was called War of the Worlds.

I saw Land of the Dead on saturday.  I didn't find the story particularly intriguing: post apocalyptic world where most everybody is a zombie and everyone else tries to take shelter in outpost cities.  The movie was very gory however.  Probably more gory than most any other movie, in fact I learned new ways in which the human body can be torn apart.  All in all I thought it was alright... not a must see, but if you're into gory horror movies, you'll probably be fine with wasting however long the movie was to watch it.

That new Undead movie that I've heard about on the radio actually sounds better... more scary anyways.

I'm not looking forward to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it's going to be a kiddie movie.... if it had been a freaky movie (which is what I thought it would be almost a year ago when I first heard about it) then I'd have loved to go see it.... but after seeing a trailer I've changed my mind.  Devil's Rejects comes out soon too... think porn... think snuff film.... think snuff porn.  ;)

More times than Spaceballs 2.

I also look forward to both of the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp films coming out this summer. The Corpse Bride sounds good, so does Charlie, but it probally won't be as good as Willy Wonka.

Of course it won`t be as good as the orginal.. The original was awesome. But it`s still really cool that Burton decided to remake it.

Corpse Bride will be good.  But I just don't see the new Chocolate Factory movie being any special.  I like Tim Burton, I like Johnny Depp; I saw the trailer as soon as it came out in anticipated excitement, but I was disappointed, and I didn't like what I saw.... and unless the movie is different from the trailer (which is doubtful since trailers are meant to show the best parts of the films) then this is just a bad movie.

Like I said.... by all means, it should be a good movie.  I don't think there's a Tim Burton movie I can outright say I don't like.... I even liked the Planet of the Apes remake (and that was a remake too), but this just doesn't look like my cup of tea.

I'm sorry, I probably shouldn't be jumping up and down screeching about how I won't like this movie.  Maybe it's somebody else's cup of tea.  Hope you enjoy it when you see it BW

I'm curious about the upcoming Peter Jackson remake of "King Kong".

Although the most recent remake (i think from the 70's) sucked big time, I hope that this one will live up to the original...

Chronicles of Narnia, anyone? I don't know much about the movie, but I need something to replace the gigantic gap in my heart that was left by the conclusion of LotR and Star Wars. Oh well, always got HP and the Goblet of Fire to look forward to...

Also, Corpse Bride looks deliciously amusing. I  Depp and Burton. A match made in heaven.

You know what movie looks so incredibly lame from the trailer I thought it had to be a "Silence is Golden" advertisement?  Sky High.  Why would any studio agree to publish something that stupid looking?

Oh, and what Kloudes and Pasty said.

The only film I'm looking forward to is "Revolver". It's supposed to be directed by Guy Ritchie ("Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", "Snatch), let's hope he doesn't drop out of production like he did with 2004's "Layer Cake" (which also also a kickass movie). Let's hope Ritchie doesn't throw himself away and start showing off the fact that he's married to Madonna and go back to his roots like his two feature length films, and not like "Swept Away". Looking at the plot, sounds a bit too much like the plot from "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (you know, film starts of with people playing cards, then someone decides they want someone killed because of the previous card game) and it's also got Jason Statham in, who was also in "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", so that isn't going to do the similarities much justice.

If anyone's interested; the IMDb page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0365686/
