i live in Australia, so most of the movies im looking foward to probably came out 6 years ago everywhere else, ive heard really good things about independance day! cant wait for that to come out,   :laff: , well Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse looks cool, the First was horribly good, i enjoyed it in a funny way. The Day after tommorow, ive only seen the teaser trail but looks good, Gothika, EEK, scary but should be fun, and some others Mind Hunters, The Punisher, Harry Potter and the Priz of Azkiban all for various reasons

OK, I want to see that movie where They guy fights retro-space aliens in his P-51.  That looked kindof cool.  I hasten to add that I've only seen the preview when I went to see lord of the rings 3.  I'll continue to expound that I was stoned out of my mind.

Completely cained.

Venus, I hope you realise he was joking about Independance Day.

Myself, I go to the movies every week, so I pretty much see everything.

I too am looking forward to the new Harry Potter  :D
It should be good as in my opinion Prisoner of Azkhaban is the best book so far.  Although the first two movies didn't live up to the books in my opinion.  So I really hope they don't mess too much with this one.

LOTR puts me to sleep without drugs. I'd probably be in a coma if I got stoned and then watched it.

I'm looking forward to all the independant movies coming out on video so I can watch them since they never play near me. And "The Life Aquatic."

Me too, I am so incredibly excited about this film. Have you seen the trail?

I'm going to see the films entered in the British Animation Awards over the next week or so. You get to vote for the best in three categories. I can't sit still for excitement!

Clive Barker's Tortured Souls. After seeing the collectibles (in all the bloody gory horrific glory) and reading excerpts from the stories, I just want to see if this movie will be as creepy, twisted and sick as the rest of the Tortured Souls line of stuff.

The Xtended Return of The King, may actually go and see it if there's more cool stuff worthy of the big-ass screen.

Star Wars III
Alien vs Predator
Kill Bill Part Deux: Even Killier!!
X-Men 3
Hitchhikers Guide To The Movie
- Cast has been announced for this one, baby!!
Jim Carrey didn't make it in as Zaphod, meh!

Dawn of the Dead - Even though I don't like remakes that much
Shaun of the Dead - A british comedy about zombies. What more could one want?
I, robot - I hate what they did. But as a loyal Asimov fan, I have to see it.
HHGTTG - Must I comment?

Yup, seen it, love it.  The link is in the Trailer thread somewhere.  I love the premise that hurling vinyl records at zombies is a good way to kill them.

Shaun of the dead- I believe it has Simon Pegg in it and that's enough for me.
Kill bill voluume 2
Spiderman 2 Well why not
Hellboy from the trailer it looks pretty cool and I love the comics.
Harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban with a new director it could actually do justice to the books.

Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Lucy Davis (Dawn in The Office), Bill Nighy and directed by Edgar Wright and written by Simon and Edgar.  It's the nearest thing we're going to get to a Spaced movie.

I think you've taken on more than you can handle there, slate. It bothers me greatly, but we'll never grammar-nazi us out of bad grammar. Especially since the rise of IM. "OMFGWTF!R0X0R$!11" is here to stay, and it's getting worse by the second.

I'm really looking forward to Troy. Good director, strong cast and writing team should make this a worthwhile film.
Hithchiker's guide and Star Wars III are other films I can't wait to see.

I say you missed out on a totally new level of expreience.

"No! Frodo, The Ring is evil, man, it's calling me too, but drop it!  Pass me the popcorn (eats half the popcorn)"

"Dude, getting stabbed by a giant spider...That would suck."
"Yeah."
"Yeah, What?"
"Yeah, it would suck."
"Oh."

"So Smiegel's buddy found the ring.  And now it's gonna be like they're gonna go home, and He and his buddy will live next door to eachother and everyday, he's gonna be like 'It's mine it came to me!'  Then one day, years from now, he's gonna attack his...Oh...nevermind."

"I think that when ke's clearing his throat, he's not saying "Golum," he's saying "Kill him!"

Anyway, Troy, definately Troy.  The Minisereis wasn't half bad in its own right, so I'm thinking good things about this movie.

Hmm...

The Life Aquatic(Wes Anderson owns all.)
Goodbye Lenin
Troy
Kill Bill Volume 2
Touching the Void
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Alexander the Great(Now with Irish accents!)

...and maybe that new King Arthur movie that lacks wizardry and whatnot. They're trying to make it historically accurate.

Yes, he's great. And if the script reviews are correct, this will be a great movie.

Yeah, I think she looked nice in Love Actually...

...but anyway, I have a question. Mentioning The Life Aquatic got me thinking... are there any good movies featuring Owen Wilson that don't have Ben Stiller starring or Wes Anderson directing? He and Anderson wrote Rushmore and yet he stars in movies like Armageddon, I Spy, Shanghai whatever, etc...

Isn't there two Alexander the Great's?
Imdb says one in 2004 and one in 2005?

And I can't find any Irish cast in either of them.

The latter Alexander was scrapped. Only the Farrell one seems to be in the works... and I've heard the characters will speak in Irish accents. Stone called Macedonia the Ireland to Ancient Greece's England.

I heard that Farrel was talking in a kind of weird Irish accent, but only him, I think.

Luhrman's Alexander was indeed postponed because of lack of financial support.
