How could you not love Seabiscuit? That movie was awsome. I love it when the little guy comes through and proves everybody wrong.

I guess I didn't see many movies this year.  All I can remember was how much I hated Bruce Almighty, how disappointed I was with The Matrix: Reloaded, and how relieved I was that The Matrix: Revolutions signalled that there would be no more crappy sequels.

I did peruse IMDB's list of movies released this year, and although I don't remember it, I'm surprised this didn't get more press.  I mean, it sounds like this film was a real pain in the ass to make.

Yeah, a theme rarely seen in movie-making.

I must say the snowboarding "action" of Extreme Ops was the worst movie I saw last year, well that and "View from the top"

S.W.A.T

Sucky Worn-out And Trite.

Just saw it tonite, and I'd pick even Bad Boys 2 over this piece of trash.

I might even pick the skinflick knockoff of this film over the original. What's it called?  T.W.A.T?

That's interesting to hear, but I just saw a commercial for 'The Lion King One and a Half' and hoped I would vomit soon so at least I would have something better to pay attention to. I made my decision to save my money and never watch another Disney film without hesitation.

Kill Bill Volume 1 and Finding Nemo were my favourites this year.
Freddy Vs Jason was a stinker, but it was funny by accident. Though Freddy's gone downhill since #4.

Lost in translation was really good i thought, it was a bit strange and seemed more to be the middle of something that should have been longer, and i didn't really seem to have a beggining or and end, if you know what i mean, but i still thought it was an awsome movie.

The hype of a movie isn't a movie itself.

*mental note: make a movie called "The Hype"*
*get Jeremy attached to direct*

Personally I think it lived up to it's hype, which is much better than if it flopped miserably.

god i had to put up with charlies angels 2 with my little sister that summer. it made absolutly no frickin sence! ( aside from being a dumbass chick action movie)what was the deal in the beggining?! dodge a tank shell/RPG by jumping off a dam?! then starting up a helicopter - in mid-air!! - and having drew and lucy " fly" and grab onto the sides of the chopper, just in the nick of time. . . go figure charlies angels you get my official =-  :finger: -= rating.

theZoid88-

You are so right. Of course I'm all up for a movie which defies all laws of physics. But this was ridiculous! It was like every scene had to have extreme stunts. The motorcycle chase was horrendously bad. They have 120 million dollars and the best visual effects they could come up with was video game quality? I'll stick with the first film and completley forget the sequel.

What were we talking about again?

I don't go to many movies in theatres.  As I dislike the public so.  Out of what I've seen in 2003/2004 so far.

Awesome to the Miznax:

A Mighty Wind
Kill Bill vol. 1

Pretty darn watchable if not downright good:

LOTR - ROTK
Whale Rider

Okee Doky:

Finding Nemo

Abysmal:

Charlie's Angels Full Throttle*

Favorites:
Lotr: Rotk...best movie of the year
Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions...I don't care what anyone else says, I still liked these movies.  Especially seeing them in IMAX.
Kill Bill Vol. 1...Uma Thurman slicing Japanese Mafia, what's not to like?
X2...Wolverine slicing commandos, what's not to like?
Lost in Translation...Chay's Head: that was the point of the film, it wasn't structured like a normal film with a beginning, middle, and end.  It was just the middle.  But like you said still an awsome movie.

Hated:
Paycheck...Sweet Zombie Jesus, do not see this movie.  I tell you John Woo has been going down hill since Hard Boiled.

I know I've seen a lot more movies than that last year, but I probably can't remember them because they weren't that great or that bad. So any other films I saw I give a C+. Ok, not great.

Nah, I liked Lilo and Stitch. I'd be a little disappointed that you bought a Disney sequel, but at least it wasn't something like Snow White 2... if they made that yet.

...too many sequels ruins childhood movies... Land Before Time, anyone?

Lilo and Stitch is my most favorite movie ever, and i too watched Stitch: The Movie. I thought it was cute, but i didn't buy it.

Oh god, don't get me started on the Land Before Time. They bastardized that movie so freakin bad. I remember when the original came out and Pizza Hut sold little hand puppets of the characters with their personal pan pizzas. I still love that song that plays at the end of the original.
