"Hereafter", I love that episode, it's probally my favorite.

I heard Soloman Gundy is coming back in an upcoming episode, does anyone know if that's true.  And before you people start on me, I know he died.

When does JLU come back?

Solomon Grundy returns in "Wake the Dead" which is scheduled to premiere on December 18th.

Well when I said scratch I was over-exaggerating. But I mean, superheros are mega-powerful, so a puncture that could open his suit is all too common these days.

So, "Ultimatum" aired tonight, featuring a somewhat less-stupid version of the Superfriends, as well as some great touches for true comic-geeks (Max Lord, Amanda Waller (no, she's NOT Condoleeza Rice), Project Cadmus...)

Best line: "Mine are BIGGER."

All in all, decent ep.

I agree.  Any villain powerful enough to pose a threat to the likes of Superman would probably be capable of puncturing Captain Atom's skin.  The possibility of that happening makes him more of a liability to the League than an asset.  In fact, he's more of a threat to the civilian population than most of the League's foes are.

They could just wish on the dragonballs if that happened...

The Wonder twins had a cameo appearance?  Oh my... that's just wrong......

Well, they looked cooler. Less like the love child of Marie Osmond and Mr. Spock, more alien.

They're still idiots, though. I mean, Downpour tried to kill Aquaman... by DROWNING him.

It can't be on accident that I often mistook Downpour (the male) for Shifter (the female).  They were designed exactly the same (didn't they both have boobs?), had the same voice actress (Grey Deisle, yes I looked it up), and acted teh same.  The only huge difference was that Shifter had lipstick.

I was a bit disappointed by that episode, but, then again, I never really liked the Superfriends anyway.

I agree that the wonder twins look too much alike, I thought this wasn't a very good episode, they should have done more with bizarro superman.

Can't wait for the episode with Soloman Grundy, in a commercial, it looked like Grundy was the bad guy, I thought he was a good guy before he died?

He wasn't a "good guy" actually, he was just helping the JL to defeat those evil aliens who take people's souls.  Grundy felt his soul was taken and thought they did it.

From what I know about Solomon Grundy, every time he dies and is ressurected, his personality shifts slightly.  That's the excuse comic writers use in order to make him a mute, a normal-talkin' guy who happens to be dead, 'heroic,' or villianous.  Of course, I havent' seen the episode in question, since it hasn't aired in the US.

:nono:  Grundy didn't feel that his soul had been taken; his soul actually had been taken, although he wasn't aware of that fact until Dr. Fate helped him remember.  Grundy was helping the Justice League because Dr. Fate had promised to help Grundy get his soul back if Grundy helped to defeat Icthulhu.

I remember Grundy screaming, "give Grundy's soul back" to Icthulhu, as Grundy was punching him.

During the fight, Hawkgirl had accused Icthulhu of stealing the souls of her people.  (She was probably speaking metaphorically.)  Grundy, not being very bright, wasn't able to draw a distinction between Icthulhu stealing the souls of the Thanagarians and the fact that his own soul had been stolen.  "Snakehead steal souls?  Give Grundy's soul back!"

However, the reason that Grundy was helping the Justice League in the first place was that Dr. Fate had promised to help Grundy get his soul back if Grundy helped to defeat Icthulhu.  Well, Grundy held up his end of the bargain, so I'd say Dr. Fate owes him one soul.  Hopefully that point will be adressed in "Wake the Dead".  If not, I'll seriously start to doubt Dr. Fate's credibility.  A servant of the Lords of Order should be a man of his word.

Hawkgirl totally is hot.  Not just because she looks hot, hell she's even sexy with that mask on.  No her hotness is also contained within her personality, she's just cool like that.  Witty, goes with the flow, but knows the right time for action.

Anyways I was just going to say, what's up with crappy computer animation being used so often in Justice League?  It so sucks it isn't even funny, I mean everytime I see a helicopter or one of the justice league ships, I go WOW this looks like garbage.  They could just do it traditionally like the rest of the animation and it'd look fine.

I'm watching that episode where atom man gets put in wonder woman's cleavage btw... I just saw a cowboy shooting at robot spiders.... some of these  "heroes" they come up with are kind of stupid..... a cowboy?  I have the superpowers of teh gunslinger!!@1

*Bump*

I've taken a liking to this show, I've only seen a couple of episodes so far, but I'm downloading season 1 right now in an attempt to catch up somewhat.

I didn't watch it before, because I thought it was basically going to be a newer version of Super Friends(Which I only like for crappy camp value), but it turned out to be a pretty OK show. Nothing ground breaking, but I enjoy it.

Yeah that was a really good episode, i'm glad Michael Rosenbaum is back as The Flash (at least for now).

Was it just me, or did The Martian sound different?

So his Mother-In-Law's name is Bertha, is that why Flash kept calling Barda that, as an inside joke or something?

P.S. Thanks for the info David A.

Or it's because "Big Bertha" is a common derogatory name for fat women.

I hope you're happy, David. I wasted like 30 min. just scrolling through that site and not getting anything done. And yet there's so much I still don't understand...

Wasn't that the show with the action figures?  All I remember is the muscle man with no clothes on. It might have been a Justice League satire.

Well, no Suicide Squad, but we DID get Superman vs. Doomsday, the death of an old villain from Batman: TAS, and Batman vs. a nuke. Also, Dr. Hugo Strange had a cameo. Wonder why they'd need a psychologist in their inner circle...
