You should see them.  Do it by any means.

As for the rifftrax debate, I recommend at least trying one before you judge them poorly.  I just watched Independence Day with some friends last weekend.  Laughed until I nearly cried.  Best one so far.

On a side note, I have named my nintendo wii  'MrWiiST3K.'  I declare this the best pun ever.  That is all

I also really like the final sacrifice, sometimes I get in the habit of calling people Rowsdower

I also found this website the other day www.castleforrester.com  you can order DVDs of episodes that haven't yet been released, I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm planning on doing it sometime soon

The guy I work with and I were having a good old time "riffing" Terminator 3 when it was on a few days ago.  It's quite entertaining.

I was also walking in the mall today and saw a poster advertising a "Citi Wrap"...what you or I might call a "shawl"...and all I could think of was Mike and the Bots making fun of Prince of Space's waist-length cape.  I giggled to myself like a demented, overweight schoolgirl that also happened to be male.

MrWiiST3K definitely has pun street cred.  I'm not where exactly Pun St is, but it most likely crosses Miss St ST3K.

If you can't find reruns on cable, go get the DVDs at Blockbuster.  If Blockbuster doesn't have the DVDs, burn down the store*.  If Blockbuster is a smoldering pile of cinders for some reason, check out YouTube*.

I'd suggest "Prince of Space", "Skydivers", "Space Mutiny", or "Cave Dwellers".

Cave Dwellers is okay, but not one of my favorites. Skydivers is hilarious though. Haven't seen the other two, but plan to.

And since when are there reruns on cable? TELL ME NOW! I DEMAND TO KNOW!

You need to drink more coffee.

Also, I also say Space Mutiny, Hobgoblins or one of my personal favourites Sidehackers!

I don't know if there are any.  I don't have cable.  Now let's all shut up and check out one of the less legitimate options I forespoke of.

"Skydivers" was classic!  And it was preceded by one of the best shorts ever!  "Cave Dwellers" is also classic, and, I'd wager, better than "Sidehackers", you Gooches.

Space Mutiny
"Big McLarge Huge."

I have to say some of my favorites are that one, Hobgoblins, Manos, and Santa ("Let's have a Patrick Swayze Christmas..." ).

Cinematic Titanic looks like it'll be pretty awesome. I'll get it when it comes out. Has anybody tried Mike's venture, Rifftrax?

Manos may possibly be my favorite episode...I'm still not sure though. It's somewhat of a tie between that one and Clonus.
Obviously, Pod People is hysterical too, though, and is MrBlonde's actual favorite, I'f I'm not mistaken.
And Santa Conquers The Martians is obviously a classic as well.

Hobgoblins is a hysterical episode...it just lost a lot of it's edge when I discovered the guy made the movie intentionally to be horrible.

I've seen Cinematic Titanic and it's fucking awesome. I've only seen one RiffTrax (AeonFlux) it was pretty awesome...I guess.

I love pretty much any one I ever saw, but some do stand out in my memory...Pod People, Manos, Alien from LA, the Santa ones (weren't there two?); also the Russo-Finnish stuff. Gotta love Angels Revenge too. Skydivers was awesome.
Hell, just about anything from seasons 2-6, and some of 7, was awesome.

And a lot of the shorts are absolutely hilarious.

The christmas episodes were "Santa Claus" and "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians". Both are good, but I get the feeling the the Martian one was intentionally campy and thus not quite as funny.

"Santa Claus" is the foreign(mexican? I can't remember, it's been a few years) movie where the devil tries to foil Santa Claus and fails comically. This is my favorite episode ever and has made me laugh harder than any movie I've ever seen. I wish it were on DVD. I would pay $50 for it, easily.

km: The car-salesmen ones were Hired and Hired: Part II. The latter is the one when the guy puts the handkerchief on his head, if I remember correctly.

Ah, yes, the brilliant "Hired" series. And of course, Santa Claus was the one with the Mexican devil...the other one just had the green Martian elves or whatever. I have the episode-guide book, but I can't be bothered to dig it out.
(The book is extremely amusing, as well).

The disturbingness levels of many of these movies has to be seen to be believed. They just HAVE to figure out some way to get this back on TV somehow. Someday they have to do it. Reruns on TV would be beyond awesome.

Nah, it's totally "Catching Trouble."

Tom - "So it's Ross: 2, Everglades: nothing."

Joel - "You know, Ross is no stranger to raping the land."

Ross - "Wildcat!  Goin' that way!"
Joel - "Wildcat, I think I love you, but I want to know for sure."

Tom - "Isn't this wrong?"
Joel - "Yeah, I'm deeply ashamed of my race right now."
Tom - "Deservedly so."

"Trumpy, you can do magic things!"

"It stinks!"

Also, it's been eons since I've seen Manos, but I can still summon up Torgo's theme music at any time...

And some other craptastically great episodes are the one with the underwater leeches, and the ones with Winky and that spaceship, and the one with the killer shrews that look like messed-up dogs, and the one with that guy with the French girlfriend and the sister with leg braces and he goes around singing and driving his car...the list is endless...

The episodes are First Spaceship on Venus, Laserblast, Werewolf, and Future War. I would've rathered Space Mutiny as well, Nurdy, but meh, at least we get something.

Oddly, people who bought this also bought Beast With a Billion Backs.
