Actually, all three took place on christmas. To avoid being proven wrong, this is what one kid said it the film.

Kid: It's Christmas, you can steal city hall!

Though I am confused why it looks more like summer. Mabye the kid was stupid.

As for my favorite holiday movie:

"Nightmare Before Christmas" all the way!

Slurm, how can you really say that is the funniest. I mean you're going up against Gremlins for christs sakes, & I personally thought that Die Hard is fucking hilarious (but that really was the first great action movie). But I can see where you are coming from, although I can not fully agree. Because the bar scene alone in the orignal Gremlins makes it hit the top mark automatically.

My favorite is "A Christmas Story". the whole thing is hilarious. I have one of those red Ryder BB guns too; it was my grampa's when he was a kid.

So many good Christmas movies. I'd have to say Nightmare Before Christmas for me. One of my favorite animated films, plus it's great for alot of holidays, as it can be watched for Halloween and Christmas, and possibly Easter. Love the music, and love the spin on the classic story of Christmas.

Best Christmas movies and such?  Somewhere near the top of my list you'll find:
  • Scrooged
  • Muppet Christmas Carol
  • Pinky and the Brain Christmas
  • Miracle on 34th Street (the original)
  • White Christmas
  • The Year Without a Santa Claus, if only for the Heatmiser and Snowmiser songs.
  • I seem to recall that A Muppet Family Christmas was also pretty good, but it's been ages since I've seen it.
