I hope it is good, hopefully this one will be nice and dark like "The Empire Stikes Back" was. I also hope they don't use Jar Jar Binks as much, if they have to use him at all.

He's a representative for the gungans in the senate. He basically stays with the rest of the politicians in the movie, so he has maybe five minutes of screen time at the most.

As for the teaser, I thought it was sexy as hell. Some of the cgi looked kinda cartooney though. Hopefully those are unfinished shots and everything will look ok in time for the movie's release.

Fett looks like a badass...I think his fight scenes will steal the show. Lightsaber action is always great, Anakin is looking cool, and the return of Watto...*ssssss. Padme is hot.



I love this shot. Very THX-ey. Or should I say, TH-sexy! Ok I'll shut up. To sum it up, everything rocks except for some of the cgi shots.

I saw the DVD weblink teaser thing. Damn it, what's with the special effects? Maybe I'm crazy, but it's seeming rather blue screeney this time around. I thought episode one looked great...what's the deal?

Maybe it's just me, but the acting seemed bad, even for Star Wars. Still, I thought it was really really good. Some cool lines, a great looking shot of Anakin straight outta Empire Strikes Back, and a few more quick action scenes.

The romance could easily still suck, but I'm a little less worried about it after this trailer.

i just love the new teasers.
breathing is realy cool. the noise of vaders helmet is still so spooky!
the romance between anakin & amidala will be the main thing in episode two i guess. what i find i little strange is the fact that anakin is so much older but amidala looks young as ever (maybe her species ages not so fast).

what do i want to see in ep. 2?
# anakin must turn to the dark side, thanks to palpatine.
# the famous clone wars - is this the end of the jedi-counsel?
# yoda must hide at dagobar.
# palpatine takes over the senate.

episode three:
anakin turns into vader
he hunts down the last jedi-knights
palpatine is emperor of the known galaxy
luke and leia are born
amidala dies
obi-wan brings the babys to tattoine
obi-wan battles vader to save the children
the rebell-alliance begins to form

i hope episode two will be a little darker than episode one (like empire).

natalie portman is such a beauty!
ewan mcgregor looks kinda funny with his beard.

in one teaser there is a very angry anakin because of obi-wan, maybe anakin will be forced to join the dark side in ep. 2?

maybe it's anakin and palpatine in a training-lesson or it is how palpatine seduces anakin to the dark side...(strike me down... emperor palpatine to luke skywalker).

i hated episode:1 compared to the rest of the saga, it seems more like they made stuff up in like half an hour for the plot and then focused on the special effects(Don't get me wrong the special effects WERE awsome).  I think Jar Jar would have been 100 times if he were Pimp Jar Jar and he had some souped up flying convertible to drive around in.  Mesa slap yo ass!  I think what should happen in Episode:2 is they kill Jar Jar while they still can, like maybe in a sentimental way, like if the new Darth bad guy killed him as the first scene opens up. I want cool smileys.

Anakin Skywalker is transformed into the clattering cacaphony of cogs and camshafts we commonly associate with Darth Vader when he is nearly killed by Obi-Wan.  I don't remember when this is supposed to happen, but it had damn well better.

i think it will happen in episode three. in episode two he will be seduced by palpatine i guess but the big moment we are all waiting for (what happend to anakin that he has to wear this armor for the rest of his life) isn't in episode two. let's all hope that it will be a great episode!!!

Anakin will NOT turn to dark side in Ep.2 (this info from the the producer Rick McCallum). Instead, I think Ep2 will end with Anakin's and Padme's wedding party. (one tidbit though, we will probably see stormtroopers in Ep.2 (not in action though)).

And if you didn't know why Vader has to wear that helmet: Obi-Wan dropped him into a pit of lava, but resurrected afterwards to show him the power of the light side of the force. Vader wasn't impressed (don't ask me why his body didn't burn to ashes in the lavapit).

Don't marry yourself to the lava idea. I personally think that's what will happen, but Lucas has been known to rewrite his own backstory before(example: in the early Return of the Jedi scripts, they said Uncle Owen was Obi-Wan's brother).

I think you misread my post. Obi-wan and Owen are NOT brothers. That's what they said in the original Return of the Jedi script, but that dialogue eventually got cut.

Now he's back to being Anakin's brother, which makes slightly more sense. (because sure, Owen could have changed his last name, but then why not change Luke's last name too?)
