From the first episode:

Quote

Edmund:  Yes, erm, I'm not so sure we're needed, you know, Baldrick...

I mean, everything seems to be going very well, doesn't it?

Everyone's fighting -- clearly having the time of their lives.

Wait a moment; some of them over there aren't fighting!  They're...

    they're just lying down!

Baldrick:  They're dead, My Lord.

I haven't seen Blackadder in ages  :( , so I'm sure that I'm forgetting plenty of good ones.  Just off the top of my head, though...

I love it when his entire family gets poisoned and Edmund finally gets to become king... for about two minutes, and then he dies too.   :p

Another one is in Blackadder Back & Forth.  He's showing his friends the things he's brought back from the past.  Miranda Richardson puts Queen Elizabeth's crown on her head and says, "A perfect fit!"    :laff:

I went with the Stupidy stupidy one, but my favourite bit of that episode is when Blackadder tries to get out of going into no-mans land (to paint a picture of the German defences) by mentioning that his medium is light but it would be pitch black and he would be unable to see. To which General Melchett replies (something along the lines of :)
"Oh yes, now that is a problem...oh I know, we'll send up some flares for you. You'll be lit-up like a christmas tree!"

I have to go for "Blackadder goes to the wise woman".  Not specifically for the woman herself, but for the scene outside.

Blackadder: Excuse me young crone, is this Putney?
Crone: That it be, that it be.
Blackadder: "Yes it is", not "That it be".

Baldrick: This one is called "The German Guns"

George: Oh, spiffing! Yes, let's hear that!

Baldrick: Boom boom boom boom....
Boom boom boom...BOOM BOOM, BOOM BOOM...

Edmund: BOOM BOOM BOOM?

Baldrick: How did you guess, sir?

George: I say, sir! That is spooky!

From the episode where Blackadder eats General Melchett's carrier pigeon.

Baldrick: Do not despair, sir. All my talk of food was just a dead herring. In fact, I have a cunning plan. This is not food, but an escape kit.

Edmund: Good Lord! A saw, a hammer, a chisel, a gun, a change of clothes, a Swiss passport, and a huge false moustache, I may just stand a chance.

Baldrick: Ah....

Edmund: Let's see, what have we here? A small painted wooden duck.

Baldrick: Yeah, I thought if you get caught near water, you can balance it on the top of your head as a brillaint disguise.

Edmund: Yeeeesss, I would, of course, have to escape first. Ah, but what's this, unless I'm much mistaken, a hammer and a chisel?

Baldrick: You *are* much mistaken!

Edmund: A pencil and a miniature trumpet.

Baldrick: Yes, a pencil so you can drop me a postcard to tell me how the break out went and a small little tiny miniature trumpet in case during your escape, you have to win favour with a difficult child.

I think I'm going to have to vote for "Blackadder goes to meet the Wise Woman". That whole scene is classic.

But Ozor Mox's scene is another great one.  :laff:

Wise woman: 3 options are open to you, the first kill Bob.

Blackadder: Never.

Wise Woman: The second kill yourself.

Blackadder: erm no thanks.

Wise woman: The third is to make sure nobody ever knows.

Blackadder Thats sounds more like it, how do I do that.

Wise woman: Kill everyone in the whole world.

He was a complete wanker, and it made the scene extremely funny, especially the way he says "I have formed a plan, and it's hotter than my pants!"

Goodness!

I haven't voted for any of the listed scenes, because the aboslutely greatest moment of Blackadder was:

When they went over the top at the end of Blackadder goes Forth

Need I say more?

It's square brackets Sturat!

And yes, that was a touching moment and very well done. Even though it's a comedy etc. it's still quite emotional, and the way they fade to the poppies was an innovative end. I must congratulate the team for that. *sniffle*

I think Series 2 was my favorite...

What's his name that plays the prince in 3 was funny at the end of 2...  You remember that one time when...  YES I WAS that sheep in the barn! Blackadder: "Eww... you had... with a sheep?"  I can't remember how it went exactly, it's been awhile, but that was great   :laff:

The whole team deserves those thanks, it's quite hard to make a situatuion like the Trenches of World War 1 amusing and still retain the harsh reality of The final push.

Still, The Blackadder Family lives on.

"Apalogees" is entering my everyday volcabulary  :p

Also "Ah, I'm a "Bastard-Son-of-a-Bitch!" Aha! Well in that case, you are a Fornicating Baboon!"
"¿Qué?"
""Fornicating Bab- no I can't really show it in this box..."
 :D

Yeah, the last episode of Goes Forth was fantastically done. I think it was #9 in the British Greatest TV Moments.
