Love the new Prodigy video for Spitfire. It's one of  their best for a long time, really in your face. Good to see the band in a video again after they weren't in Girls. Plus Spitfire is my fave track off AONO anyway...

Is it just me, or is Uniting Nations' Out of Touch becoming the new Call on Me? It's been played everywhere.

I love the video for Mylo's Destroy Rock and Roll, it's just brilliant.

Ah yes I have seen that video twice. The only thing I like about the video is the catfight. But what is the reason for taking half their clothes of and that lesbian kiss in the end. The song is annoying because it just runs the same lines over and over again.

Bye the way have you guys watched100 greatest music videos on channel 4? I have and I taped it too. I am so happy that Robbie’s Rock DJ video was at no6. Most of the videos that they show were pretty good.

Me and my mates were watching that. Good list. Good to see the graphic uncut version of rock DJ. The final part of the video raises it from being a funny entertaining (especially for the ladies) video to a shocking and brilliant piece of art that leaves an strong impact.

Ah ha's Take on me and Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer are both still AMAZING. The animation will never date. Great concepts.

Oh.......and er, a certain entertainer that i happen to be a fan of topped the poll. That's right Thriller came it at #1. With Billie Jean at  7 & Scream at 12! MJ tied with Bjork as the artist with the most videos on the list.

I didn't watch the whole show, was Virtual Insanity by Jameriquiy (sp?) on the list!? I think it should be in the top 5 personally.

Thanks for posting that list Juli.

Virtual Insanity is there, at number 49. Good to see No Suprises in there at 24, and Coffee & TV in there at 17. I love both of those videos.

So many of those I haven't seen though. I really don't watch enough of the music video shows. On TV here though, unless you have cable, they are on from 12-8 on Saturday and Sunday mornings, or around that time. Not exactly prime time.

The list was pretty predictable, but there were a few surprises thrown in there though.

I love that No Surprises video. They showed clips of Thom Yorke finding it really hard to hold his breath, and loads of failed takes and all.

M Jackson - Nope. Madonna had the most entries on that list - Ray Of Light, Material Girl, Vogue and Like a Prayer, with the latter two in the top ten.

Has anyone seen the video for Dizzee Rascal's Dream? It's genius! Done in this Muffin the Mule style, but with gangsta puppets   :laff:

Good to see two Prodigy vids make it; 'Firestarter' and 'Smack My Bitch Up'. My fave Prodigy vid didn't make it though, 'Breathe'!...

Anyway, the other stuff I really dig on that list is...
The Verve: Bittersweet Symphony (funny as hell!)
Michael & Janet Jackson: Scream (amazing stuff)
Blur: Coffee & TV (original and awesome)
Jamiroquai: Virtual Insanity (one of the best vids ever, when's he gonna put this in friggin DVD!)
Radiohead: Just (really keeps your attention)

...now where the hell was Lenny Kravitz's 'Are you Gonna Go My Way', and Eminems 'Guilty Conscience' and KoRn's 'Freak on a Leash' vids?...

Also, what the hell was Guns N Roses 'November Rain' doing on there? That's like their shitest song and a shit vid, dear me!...

I remember watching the Firestarter video when it first aired on Top of the Pops. As that show said, it got plenty of complaints afterwards.

Not as many as 'Smack My Bitch Up' though...

It wasn't on TOTP, but it got plenty of MP's talking...

It's about this guy who was buried underground or something (my memory is a bit hazy) and he eventually works his way back to the surface....something like that I think....was cool....!

I see the premiere of the new Jamiroquai video for 'Feels Just Like It Should' last night. Another classic Jamiroquai video which sits along side his best efforts, such as 'Virtual Insanity', 'Deeper Underground', 'Canned Heat' and 'Liitle L'. The FX are a bit cheesey, but I think that's intended...

I just read that Channel 4 list... The verdict: Not so good.
Why? I don't really think any of those Madonna videos caught my attention. Her best video is clearly The Power Of Goodbye, but the ones on that list were all the ones in which Madonna figured out a new way to dance, and that does not make a memorable video.
The Meat Loaf video is the worst video for his worst song (but from his best album). Yawn-fest.
Fitty Cent's In Da Club? What happened in that one? He was upside down... Whoah- that's gotta be one of the most incredible videos ever if he was upside down. Fuckers.

I saw no Sigur Rós videos on there. Untitled One, viðrar vel til loftárása and svefn-g-englar are clearly better than most of the videos in that list, and that's not just because I happen to be a fan. I think Jeff Buckley's So Real would be worthy as well.
...and a lot more.

Smells Like Teen Spirit is good, but not the best. I like In Bloom's Nevermind music video better. Learn to Fly by Foo Fighters is great, and Fell In Love With a Girl by The White Stripes is one of the best by them, along with Hardest Button to Button and Seven Nation Army. But my best if Bohemian Rhapsody.

Ben is correct, the one filmed in a London Underground tunnel before it was put into use. Classic video, powerful and unforgettable imagery. My fave Prodigy vid is still Breathe though…

How many parts does R Kelly have for his video Trapped In The Closet? I have seen all the 4 parts and I thought they were really good. It is like a musical soap opera
