I just saw Shawn Michaels's throat get crushed by Kane.  It is safe to say that he may be taking a break.

Also, if Edge is going to be a heel, are there any heels who are going to be "good guys".  With Michaels injuried and Edge being a heel, RAW is running out of active "good guys".

I doubt Edge is going to be a big player in the future. I really don't think anyone cares for him much.

Edge really works well as heel though. Remember the "Totally reeking of awesomness" days? He and Christian were one of my all time favortie tag teams back then.

Yeah, but it all depends on what type of heel.  Will Edge be a comical heel like Kurt Angle, like he was with Christian, or will he be a heartless heel like HHH or Kane?

I think Christian has busted his ass and deserves more than being tagged up with Edge again. Christian made a great IC champion and will make a cool World champ some day.  He's just above Edge.

Just like Matt is above a Hardy's reunion.

I dunno, I think that Christian is a better singles wrestler, but not Matt. Jeff was much better then him, even in his last weeks in the WWE.

Meh, Jeff's singles matches were often the same 7 or 8 high flying moves in a different order each time. He was only really good in matches where he could do some bat shit insane high risk stuff (like ladder matches and table matches). Matt is a much better wrestler overall.

I like both Edge and Christian, and I agree 100% with what Coop said. Christian deserves another push, but I don't think he'll be ready for the world title picture for awhile yet. Edge isn't either, he would have been a better fit fueding with Cena over on Smackdown for the US title.

I thought Edge should have been on SmackDown anyway. He's much more suited for that environment. Plus, the show NEEDS big-name superstars.

Smackdown needs more big name stars.  How come WWE has never signed, Mike Awesome? He was involved with whole invasion crap, so why hasn't he wrestled for the WWE?  I can picture him on SD and having a feud with Eddie after JBL.

Also, I can't wait for HHH vs. Eugene, ever since Eugene first said he was a big fan of HHH.  I thought this past jericho's highlight reel was great.

After much consideration, I have decided I shall continue referring to WWE as "the WWF."  That's the name I grew up with (I'm old enough to vaguely remember Andre the Giant and the Iron Sheikh).  Besides that, WWE is the name the lawyers want us to use, and I make a point of never doing anything lawyers want.  Which means I have attempted stunts performed by professionals on a closed course on many, many car commercials.

Edit: I remember when Hulk Hogan had a cartoon, too.  Is anyone else that old?

Yeah I used to watch it every Saturday morning back in the day  :) Can't remember what it was called, Superstars I think....

Also my opinion on Christian, I loved him back when he first appeared as Edge's "brother" The dark glasses, the puffy shirt, and he didn't speak for ages....he was mysterious and that's what made him (along with many other wrestlers who lose their gimmick) great....When he beat Taka for the Light Heavyweight back in err 1998....? He didn't show any emotion or anything, very cool....

Was that when he used to enter the ring through the crowd?

..and he was Sables "secret" tag-team partner at some PPV or other.

They used to be so awsome together...TLC's between the Hardyz, E&C and the Dudley's were legendary.....with, of course, the odd interference from Rhyno!!

I just saw RAW and is HHH the #1 contender?  Technically "he" didn't take Eugene's lights out.  Chris Beniot did.

When are they going to have Rock vs. Randy?

I WANT TO SEE IT!

Being in ring shape is completely different from just being fit and in shape. It means he is ready to start taking bumps and hits and falls. If you don't get into ring shape before stepping into the ring, you can get severely injured of be in lots of uneccessary pain.

Like when Foley got whipped into those stairs last year at the HIAC, he said he felt tremendous pain and thought he might have been injured.

I'm not sure if Foley has EVER been in ring shape his whole career.

*Cough*

Oh, he certainly has. Recently too, just take a look at the 2000 Royal Rumble street fight against HHH. He wasn't ripped then, for sure, but was still in better shape than most of us.

Hey Coop or anyone else that might know....When Mick got chokeslammed though the HIAC back in '98, he wasn't supposed to actually go through it was he....?

I recently read that it was planned, and that's the spot that the Undertaker steps on near the start of the match, when his foot goes through the cell... I just thought it was the only part of the match that wasn't planned that's all....

Even if the second fall was supposed to happen, we know that the chair wasn't supposed to land on his face. One of those falling from like 14-15 feet can really scramble your brains, and it knocked his tooth out through his nose. It has been awhile since I read "Have A Nice Day"(Mick's book), so I'm not sure if he specifically said if that fall was intentional or not.

Mick and everyone else have always claimed that the chokeslam bump was unplanned. It was kinda fortunate that it did happen, entertainment-wise, as it gave the match a new dimension, and made the match register that much higher on the brutality meter and thus increased it's impact on memory. It was unfortunate for what it did to Mick's body and his family, of course.

I doubt it was planned, just look at a tape of the match.

Well, Mick has often been known to lie. His books are full of fabricated truth. He claimed that Honky injured Jake, which isn't true, thos damned guitars are brittle. Mick tells a lot of lies in his book that HTM has disproved.

Is it true that Chavo Classic was fired?  I heard he was due to the fact that he was a no show to two house events.  For that matter, I also heard the Brian Lawler was fired again for being late to certain WWE events.

Is Paul Bearer leaving?  He comes back to Wrestlemania XX, talks about how things have changed, only to have what happen to him on the payperview.

Is there any chance they'll bring back World War 3?  30 Raw superstars and 30 Smackdown superstars, three rings.

I guess the name itself is a possibility, but don't count on the 60-man battle royal coming back. That was just WCW's version of the Royal Rumble. WCW had many more wrestlers on the roster than WWE has even today, so they could put on a bigger Battle Royal. WWE really has no reason to use it. IMO WWIII sucked anyway. All the guys did was stand around and punch each other till there were only a few people left. It would have been much better if it didn't start with everyone in the ring(s) at once.

If they were going to bring back any yearly event that WCW used to have, I'd want them to bring back the War Games. It would fit right in at Survivor Series, and it was usually quite an enjoyable match.

But still, you're missing the point. WWE already has a huge, once and year battle royal, they really don't need two. If they wanted to have a 60 man battle royal, they could simply expand the Royal Rumble.

I suppose that if one battle royal were held for Smackdown, and one for Raw, it would be reasonable to bring back WWIII, but it'd be near impossible to wrangle 60 superstars from one brand alone, so the event would still need to be scaled back anyway.
