Thanks a lot G. I really did enjoy them, it was 4 hours well spent. But there will always be a match that didn't make the tape, but that's just me being stingy.
Now here is what I need! Eight tapes, 45 hours of NWA from 1986 to 1988! Two years worth of wrestling right there. I would be abliged to just give myself two straight days off to watch em.

Is anyone going to give the "Legends of Wrestling" a look? I know that 1 and 2 were kind of lowsy(who am I kidding? they stank!) But Acclaim is totally revising the system. And they've added all new wrestlers like Ultimate Warrior, Jake the Snake and Dusty Rhodes **marks**    :D

LOW 3 looks, awesome. I think DDP has been announced as well.
Ever check out http://www.johnmcadam.com  Coop? He has some great tapes, I ordered a bunch of ECW ones off him last year.

Well folks, I've been pretty much banned from Honkytonkman.com, my foremost message board for wrestling.

But who needs them anyway? I have PEEL. And PEEl is where my real friends are.

Anyway, RAW was good. A lot of good buildup for the PPV which is important. I just wonder why neither HBK or HHH were there considering they are in the main event.

Faults on both sides. First off, HTM wrote an article saying that Flair was over rated and was Trash and yadda yadda.

Anyway, this site called Wrestling 365, posted a large section of this column, mainly to critisize it and disagree with it. HTM.com said they would sue them for using the inserpt without their knowledge (which they never did) and it started a small war between the two sites(HTM & W365)

Anyhow, I email the guy who owned W365 to say that I agreed with his comments on HTM, and that the stuff he said about Flair was BS.

The guys at HTM saw this as me being a "trador" and that I shouldn't "Talk about it outside the family." One thing they don't understand, I AM NOT PART OF THEIR FREAKING FAMILY. I am my own man and I can say what I want to whomever I want whenever I want. I just agreed with the stuff this guy said, they told me "You should have just adressed the complaint here, wrather than adding fuel to the fire" and the thing is, I have told them plenty of times that I think HTM is all about money. Maybe it added feul to this guy's fire, but I DON'T CARE. The owner of W365 is not my "enemy" and I won't be part of anyone's board wars.

That may make me look like Benedict Arnold, but the fact of the matter is,  I am a free agent, I don't belong to any board and I make allies or enemies anywhere. This is the internet for Christ's sake.

****************************

Keep in mind, I mean *wrestling* sites(and there are hundreds of them that I am a part of). The folks here are PEEL are my family, I'm loyal to PEEL all the way, even if it means I need to fight a war.

You know it, brother. \mm/

I want to get Royal Rumble Predictions before tommorow night, so you guys come on with it. Here are my predictions.

Dudleys vs Ric Flair & Batista - Flair & Batista
Eddie vs Chavo - Eddie, I just know that he's ready for the main event
Triple H vs HBK - Triple H
Brock Lesner vs Holly - Lesner, I pray. I just can't stand Holly

And the Royal Rumble:
Tough Call, but I will say Goldberg.

I agree with all your predictions, except I think Benoit will win the Rumble. I've heard some strong rumors and he really deserves a world title run before he gets too old, he must be in his mid 30's by now.

Did anyone see Brock jump in and F-5 Goldberg? awsome stuff.

I glad Benoit won too. He's been one of my fav's for awhile now. I personally didn't see the PPV though, the only one I get each year is Wrestlemaina.

Cool Benoit won, about time....

Because I don't get pay tv, I only get to see the PPV's when they release them on dvd, and I just remembered wasn't there a second buried alive match a couple years ago....? Was it on the ppv where Owen Hart tragically died....?

Either way I haven't seen it and just remembered it the other day....

Owen died at a PPV called "Over the edge."(Irony eh? I don't think there was a buried alive match at that PPV. I don't quite remember.

It was Austin against Taker I'm pretty sure....just can't remember when it was....

Coop did you see Over The Edge when it was on....? The only people who did were those who were there and the viewers at home....But they were watching pre-match footage so they never saw Owen fall, only the audience did....and they never released the tape out of respect....I don't think I'd like to see it anyway....

My mate had that "Over The Edge" on tape, he said he'd never get rid of it, so I'll have to see if he's still got it.  I never saw the PPV.

I never did see it acctually. I had lost my interest in WWF by that time, but when I got to school and a friend informed me that Owen was dead, I was more than shocked...I was breathless.

A lot of people have tried to find it, but the fact of the matter is, you cant. Footage of owen falling has never ever been released. I don't think they showed it at the PPV but I could be wrong.

I couldn't believe it either, I thought it must be a mistake....I was reading the results of the PPV online and the guy reviewing it said "omg JR has just said Owen Hart is dead, I can't believe this"

Anyway....

No, they didn't show it on air, Owen falling happenned during another viginette. I was watching it live  :(

The RAW the next night was a fitting tribute, in my opinion. The WWF had to give it the cheesy "AT&T commercial" treatment so typical of many American memorial shows (think: a hell of a lot of 9/11 tributes), but what really got you was the sentiments and stories that his friends shared.

There was no buried alive match at that PPV, but Austin did lose his title to Taker, yes.

I found the other buried alive match, it's on Survivor Series 2003, Vinnie Mac and Taker....Just bought it today for my bro's birthday next week....

I saw parts of the comments by the other wrestlers and I think they did the right thing by cutting all storylines for one night....

RIP Owen....

Yeah, I was watching a match between Owen and Hanbialysa (probably splet wrong, I don't care) from Japan last week, he was an awesome wrestler, and apperently a great guy behind the scenes. I remember the news reports on the night he died, it seemed so surreal.

Well, there you have it. Eddie AND Benoit are in the main event. Thats very good to know. Personally, I would have wrather had John Cena as the winner, but oh well. The rumble was good, I'm thinking that Angle will cost eddie the title, which will lead to a feud at Wrestlemania.

What, do you just cut and paste the description from WWF.com or something?

And it would help if you "preview" didn't come a few days late.

Indeed, you you hadn't said it, I would have.

There's no addition or insight there, although I'm impressed with anyones ability to cut and paste.

So, does the winner of the Rumble still get a title shot?  And if so, which strap, the WWE Title or World Title?

Chris Benoit won, and he gets to choose the title. He choose the World title on Raw, and is facing Triple H at Wrestlemaina.

Benoit got some legal loophole and now he faces H at mania.

The rumor is there will be a 3 watch between Benoit, Micheals and HHH. I wouldn't mind that so much.

I'm just relived that the ring didn't fall apart under the weight of HBK and HHH huge ego's at the Royal Rumble. Then again, it probably would have been quite entertaining.

Holy shit! Sting has been added to the LOW: Showdown roster. Acclaim better not screw this game up, because it has what is perhaps the best roster ever.
