Ok my personal favorite.... you could call it a sci-fi but if you ever read the book, the fucking movie didn't do it justice but hey it moved my cynical tastes to a new height. Starship Troopers.... A classic. I call it a creature feature to the max but hey maybe I'm wrong if you thinks so TELL ME....

Ohh and btw my favorite Godzilla movie is the one with Monthra.

What about Evolution? That movie was way under rated. But Godzilla I say is the best the true classic.
Wait...
What about Goddamn Jurassic Park!?
Or the Alien movies?

IT has some pretty scary monsters/creatures but I'll just vote for the imaginary "Aliens" option.
Go face-huggers!

Does creature from the black lagoon count? I don't quite understand the term "creature feature."

Creature Feature, meaning the movie features some sort of monster or creature.

Ehhhhh, uhhhh... I haven't really seen any of the ones on the list... thank my mom and her 'no horror movies' policy around the house

Jurrasic Park and the Alien movies are toooooo tottaly fucking kick ass expecially "Aliens" (Alien 2) those were full fledged action movies not quite cheesy creature features.

Of course it counts it's one of the originals but I tried to put a new age list up... if you can tell the admin to ditch this poll so I can converse with the Slurm-guy and create a better one....

Hmmmmm. Some good choices on that list.
Starship Troopers: Good action scenes, has the "did they plan it this way or is it completly satire" quality to it.
Anaconda: I was laughing so loud in the theater at the suspencefull scenes in this film I thought I would be kicked out of the theater.
Mimic: Fun movie had giant bugs and a hot entomologist which is a plus in my book.
Jaws: classic
Deep Blue Sea: Ok movie, had its moments. Could have been a little better.

I think I will vote for Mimic.

Futurama_Hil, you are the coolest, especially in your choice of monsters.  Godzilla would kick the crap out of any of the monsters in the rest of this poll.  Then he'd trash Hollywood, for that awful American version.  Godziila is the champ!

I like Deep Blue Sea. It was one of the first horror films I ever watched and the way almost all of the characters died in it came as a huge shock to me bcause I had never realy seen a film like that.( I was alot younger)

Out of the choices I picked Jaws, had Alien been there that would have got my vote.

Jaws is a classic, but I love Starship Troopers for the tongue-in-cheek humour. I know the book was very different from the film but I personally think it was smart for Verhoven to make his own interpretation of it rather than just repeat the text on screen.

But if Alien was there I'd vote for that. Shocking anecdote- when we watched Alien in Media Studies me and my best mate had to explain the plot every ten minutes because everyone else found it too boring  That just sickend me...

"Oh no, there goest Tokyo, oh oh Godzilla!"

Seriously, in a death match between the choices, how could you not vote for Godzilla? What's Jaws going to do, bite his toe?

The Creeper! But The dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park Trilogy were so fucking cool. Whoever designed them did their research because they follow the fossils fairly well. Also aliens in Evolution were awesome! I love that movie!

:: puts on his little Japanese short-shorts::

Gamera is friend to children!!

Still, Godzilla's the only one out of that list who can do a standing drop-kick and not make it look silly.
