Did anyone see that 10 part tv series called Band Of Brothers. It was set in World War 2. I thought it was brilliant but nobody I know watched.

Has anyone seen it and if so what did you think to it.

I saw it and agree it was brilliant. Actually I only saw half the series during the original airing before my HBO subscription ran out. Fortunately I was able to rent the remaining episodes from my local library.

I'll never forget the episode where they freed the concentration camp. Truly a great series that should be seen by everyone.

I was on some sites to find out a price on the box set with all the episodes and did you know that Band Of Brothers cost 87 million pounds and is the most expensive TV production ever. And im glad I have found some people who watched and loved the series just as much as me.   smile

Anyone else watch it ?

It would have been a bit better if we saw a lot more allies, Not just the Brit's but the Canadian's and FFF. We're kinda lonely.

It started out great, but eventually degenerated after the push from Normandy.  All in all a good series.
